These are great! Tasty and nourishing.

I do not wish to be dramatic when I tell you that these are the nastiest thing I’ve ever tasted. I was looking for a protein bar with low glycemic index, but these make me sick to my stomach. They are somehow super dry and crumbly while simultaneously oily and chewy. They are sickeningly sweet in taste, likely due to sugar alcohols or fake sugar. I ordered a 12 count box of these and regret it immensely. Trying to power through them because I hate to waste, but my god it’s hard. Heed my advice and skip these.

So healthy and enough taste to take with you on the run!

Taste is not great, BUT I always feel good after eating a Bulletproof Bar. For some reason, these bars are not nearly as tasty as they were when they first came out though. I've been purchasing for quite a while. They also dropped a couple flavor options. My blood sugar stays consistent after eating a bar so very happy about that and they are great if you are trying to do keto. The ingredients are quality which probably explains the high price. Hard to get a discount on this anywhere, so I limit how many I buy.

If you follow the Keto lifestyle, you know how tough it is to find quick on the go items to drop in your bag for those hunger moments on the go. These are perfect for that. I do suggest packing them in a plastic baggie as they can get an oil residue on the outside of the packaging.FLAVOR - As expected, wonderful. My 11 year loves them, I think they are scrumptious, and the husband (not yet a Keto fan) says they taste like butter. (Still trying to figure out how that is a bad thing) :)TEXTURE - They are a little gritty, like a protein powder mixed with cookie dough. They can get a little stick in the mouth while eating but nothing like the bars that are fig and date based. Typically they melt in your mouth like a lofty sugar cookie.PRICE - Elsewhere you are going to pay more, Amazon is the best price. That's if you can find them. The only place I saw them besides the Bulletproof website was Whole Foods. The Bulletproof products hands down are more expensive then anything comparable BUT the comparable items really don't measure up.SATISFING - These bars really are satisfying and will curb those pesky cravings for something sweet. They fill you up much like a "Bulletproof Coffee"I have tried all sorts of bars, either way high in CARBS or taste is horrible. I highly recommend the Bulletproof bars.

Not sure if it was just my box, but these bars are very dry, almost chalky. The flavor is pretty good but there are other bars that are low glycemic and taste much better. For my money, I won't buy again.

So, these tasted okay if a bit dry, but I made the mistake of eating several of them for a quick lunch. Suffice to say, these aren't for everyone and over the course of several hours I was constantly running to the bathroom, and when I was not doing that I was rehydrating.Anyhow, if you try these, try one and give it a few hours to see how you react.

First off, I am writing because I love the Lemon Bars! But, the reason I was compelled to write this is because I have ordered these three times. The first time, I loved them. It was truly like eating a healthy lemon cookie! The second time, there was a weird taste, but I finished them because they are pricey and it wasn't horrible, just not as great as the first time. I was pondering whether to order them again when the best thing happened. My husband gave me a box that had been delivered to our house from Bulletproof. I was instantly angry, because I figured they put me on an auto shipment plan without my ok. I opened the box to find a letter, a box of lemon cookies, and a pound of bulletproof coffee. The letter explained that they felt the taste of their last batch of lemon cookies was not up to par. Therefore, they proactively sent a free box to everyone that had ordered from that batch, and a pound of coffee as a Thank you and apology. I was floored. I ate that box and then ordered another. They were both DELICIOUS! Thank you to Bulletproof's great customer service, I will continue ordering from them and have told everyone I know about this story!
