Super simple and powerful for it's size! Thumbs up!
This is a great light so far. I bought it on a lightning deal. It's exactly what I like in a flashlight: simple, durable, rain resistant, bright for home use, and inexpensive. It's not a tactical flashlight, which is fine for your average person that doesn't plan to survive the zombie apocalypse. It has no strobe or SOS function which is awesome. I hate having to cycle through six different functions. This has high, low, and off only. If you are going camping, bring a tactical light then. This a daily driver light for an average person that isn't going up against Has Gruber and his band of Merry Christmas thieves. It's body seems durable. Comes with the rechargeable batteries. It's low cost to buy and to operate because you do not need to buy batteries. Although you can if you want to. It's bright enough for a power outage in the house or walk through your average size suburban backyard without blinding your neighbors while they sleep. I'm fine with a flashlight this small in size not having a beam focus. I actually prefer not having them on pocket lights. The simpler the pocket light is, the more durable it is. It easily fits in regular pants pockets. Front jean pockets can be small though from manufacturer. I usually wear "Dickies" and have plenty of room where I forget I have it till I need a light. The clip it comes with works well in retaining it in my pocket. The only thing I'm concerned with is the long term durability. So far I have every reason to believe this will provide years of service. But, you never know for sure till time actually passes. So, if this breaks during/from normal use in short order I'll update this post.

Fantastic flashlight!
So I have had 3 of these over the years, and I keep ordering a new one every time one breaks or is lost because it is hands down my favorite flashlight for working on cars. It is simple, rechargeable and ACTUALLY water resistant.I have dropped this thing on solid concrete more times than I can count, and my first one died after a year of reckless abuse. Second one I lost, and my current one is still going strong, and I drop it far less. The water resistance is no joke either, I have dropped it in buckets full of water, used it in the rain and snow, and not even so much as a single drop gets passed the rubber gaskets it uses to keep the charge port and battery housing safe.I found that on average I can go 3-5 days on one charge before this thing dies out. I work on cars for work, and constantly have this on and off for vehicle inspections, so for the battery to not die after a day or so really shows the quality of Anker’s batteries.Definitely pull the trigger on this bad boy, the cost is low, and the quality is absurd.

Another great product from Anker!
I am a server at a restaurant & was looking for a penlight to use at work where the lighting is very dim. I decided to try this one because I love the other Anker products I own. After using it for a little over a month, I can confidently say the Bolder P2 lives up to what I've come to expect from Anker!PROS:The design is sleek, the build quality feels solid in your hand, & the brightness is more than adequate for my application. I especially like that the beam is specific to your target as opposed to other penlights I've tried (e.g., Helius Beta VI), which produce a much broader beam.I have yet to feel any heat generated during use. However, it should be noted that I rarely have it on for extended periods of time, but other penlights I've used have gotten noticeably warm after just a few minutes of use.I can't attest to its longevity, but the rechargeable battery is super convenient & saves you the hassle—and money—of buying batteries.CONS:It is a little larger/bulkier than compared to other penlights I've used or seen and therefore more noticeable in your pocket. Besides leaving less room for the other things I carry (e.g., wine tool, lighter, keys, etc.), it also made it harder to reach for those items quickly.I wish there were a way to save or set a default beam mode instead of it just toggling between high & low each time you press the on button.

Nice flashlight, but batteries seem to be poor quality
I've been a big fan of Anker's products for years now. Got this flashlight about 4 years ago and it worked fine for about the first year. Then it started blinking off and on randomly, even after a full charge. Then it pretty much wouldn't stay on and clicking the button would only make it flash once when pressed. I kept it in a cupholder and mostly ignored it until today, when I really could have used it. I came back to Amazon to look for a replacement and found that Anker doesn't seem to sell these anymore. But one review I noticed happened to resolve the problem: just change out the Anker batteries for another set of AAA batteries (in my case, I used some eneloop rechargeable batteries). Now the light stays on without any issue. Now I feel bad for smacking the heck out of it, trying to get the light to stay on, and it was just the batteries. Glad I didn't have to spend more on a new flashlight!
