Q: The description says 7.4 v but the pictures show 11.1 volt. also, the comments say they are jst connectors? are these really going to be xt30?

Hello, I’ve noticed often times when the product is a “Brand name“ item like “Tattu” and they have many variations of the product like 1s,2s, 3s, etc. they will lump all the comments on all the “Tattu” branded batteries together. As far as the JST connector, on this particular battery they are referring to the balance lead as a jst brand. There are also variations of jst connectors, not only the Red main lead you are probably thinking of. From what I understand “jst” is a brand name of connectors as well. I always go by what is written in the description. This is a 7.4 V 2s 300 mah Lipo with a XT30 main connector. Sometimes companies will use a picture that is not the exact item. Anyway, Amazon is super awesome about returns so, if you happened to somehow get the wrong battery they take care of returns very fast. I hope this helps you. Happy flying

Q: Do these batteries really weigh 54 1/2 grams? That seems really heavy. It must be a mistake.

Q: What’s the charging rate on these batteries? Can they be charged higher than 1c?

1C is recommended. I like to purchase enough so that I need not charge higher than 1C during a flying session. That way my batteries preform better for more cycles.

Q: do these have built in protection module?

That would be a negative. These are what I call “Raw Batteries” that have a balance lead which is meant to be used with a charger. To keep the batteries as light as possible all the protection is built into the hobby grade charger you are using. I hope this helps you,
