Metallic replacement valve from Mira ( original manufacturer)
original shower valve jammed and broke due to limescale deposits, while replacing shower hose. Found this from NSS. It’s the original metal replacement of the plastic valve. Fits exactly same. Delivered in 3 days. Quite impressed

Fab replacement for plastic hose connector for Mira shower
Shower hose split and when I tried to replace it the plastic connector (picture attached) on the Mira shower came off and would not screw back in. This product is the metal equivalent of the plastic connector but far superior. Fantastic product which has saved me having to replace the shower! Need to buy the Allen key as well to connect tightly to the shower.Took me just seconds to connect to the shower.

Fits perfectly
I have no idea why this is an aftermarket part for Mira showers, it really should have been a standard part of the original design.Like many others I decided to change the shower hose and discovered the original plastic version of this was still screwed into the hose end and not into the shower bar. Trying to remove it was simply damaging the plastic so I purchased this brass version. I used an Allan key to install (don't overtighten) and it was very straightforward with no leaks.

The essential (unpublicised) component needed to change a Mira shower hose
This replaces the similar connector which came with my Mira shower bar valve but had been made of plastic.The brass is much better and I was relieved when it fitted as B & Q told me they thought I had broken the old one and the shower valve with it because the very short plastic thread had worn to look as though it had snapped off. They were wrong: it is meant be short.The old plastic connector was impossible to detach from the end of the old hose so could not be reused. This new brass one fitted the Mira shower valve at one end and the cheap, unbranded universal hose I had bought to replace the old leaking one at the other. A good result.
