I've been using Epicure chickpeas for years as an easy option if I don't have time to prepare my own. I find them excellent, tasting just as they should.

Cheaper and easier than buying in the supermarket, this bulk case of chickpeas is the same popular brand you see all over, and they're ideal for making vegetarian burgers, hummous, or for adding to soups and stews.

Nice Puy-style lentils
Nothing wrong with these; good quality lentils, not over cooked, they stay together when further cooked in spiced oil as a side dish.A bit pricey if you compare to buying similar dry lentils and cooking yourself (like 4x more) but that's the price of convenience and I can't say they are overly expensive for a tinned product.Good enough that I've bought four trays of them so far.

Good flavour but lots of badly crushed tins
I like these chickpeas but unfortunately the case included 5 badly crushed tins - all located near the middle of the pack
