Cool for the price
Not the best one I’ve ever used, but worth the price.

Elegant and Functional
The media could not be loaded. The design of this blade and hilt is awesome. Smooth, gently curved, it forms beautifully in the user's hand. It may be stubby for a "saber", but it has all the elegance of a true sword- And it works to lop the heads off of bottles, which is fun.I successfully got this to work on a brand of sparkling cider (non-alcohol) that had a bottle shape similar to a champaign bottle, with a distinct bulge at the tip. Other sparkling juices with more beer-bottle-like shapes don't seem conducive to be topped, though it could have been my technique. I'll have to experiment more. All that said, there were only minute signs of damage on the blade after use and the only design features I can really complain about are the single bevel of the blade (not sure if this would affect left-handed users or not, but either way it takes away from the sword-like feel, y'know?) and the way the handguard attaches to the base of the handle- it looks as though it might be glued rather than welded or riveted.Granted, this is designed for de-capping bottles and not for combat, but the perfectionist in me is still a bit concerned. The blade's edge is not sharpened, but the tip is rather pointy and like any tool could cause injury if mishandled. And of course, be wary of sharp edges on bottles and bottle heads.Overall this is a beautiful little saber, as fun to use as it is comfortable to hold. Thanks!

LOGO IS MISSING ON A BLADE
Website pictures clearly demonstrate a logo on the blade while it is missing. I requested to send another saber and the logo was missing on that one as well. This is very misleading and disappointing

Estremely well presented
This champagne saber arrived in a wonderfully packed box that would make a perfect gift for the aspiring best man to behead the champagne at a wedding feast. It's heavy, not cheaply made at all, and longer than I expected.I'm planning on opening a bottle this New Year's eve, but will be practicing first on cheaper beverages. Complete instructions are included in the box.

Not what I was expecting at all
Didn’t realize this was a dull unsharpened blade. Mean for the price figured it would been hardened metal that could be sharpened. But no this is a gimmick that they cover charge for this novelty item to only pop the champagne bottle top off with. Most the money goes to the presentation of the box and directions how to pop the top off the bottle. Me I’m just not happy with this purchase. Wouldn’t be bad if it was under a $10 cost. But for the price I def wast expecting what I got. Sorry to say. Does look nice though if you want a 100% dull blade that is as thick on the cutting edge as it is on the spine back edge

Neat little toy, but not for the price
I got this on a whim. I have no use for a saber, much less a dull one, and I don't drink. I never have occasion to partake in champagne, much less open one, but I'm a bit of a knife geek, and thought this would be cool. It's quite dull, and not a hardenable steel, so you can't even sharpen it effectively. It's nothing more than a mass-produced prop or conversation piece.
