The best thing to do is use a wax cleaner BUT not all surfaces are safe to use the wax cleaner on. You must do a test, some surfaces can become damaged.

Yes and it needs to be a warmer specific to low temperature wax.

Q: What temperature works best for this wax?

Not sure what the temperature is, I just leave it in the wax warmer until it liquifies then use it. It gives a great wax.
