This sunshade is Ok. For the cost, I expected more. It does work as expected, but so would any tarp - we've used towels in the past to shade the sun. The stitching is single threaded, there is no reinforcing around where the cable attaches and the hardware is average. Once thing I don't like is the straps move too easily and can slide off the ends, luckily the one that fell off landed in the boat. I think for the price, this should be of better quality, or the price should be less to deal with the minor flaws. It does work, and does look nice, but it could be nicer.

The fully dyed 600D Polyester UV and Anti-fade material seems to be a desirable choice for this bow boat sunshade. It feels like quality material and the stitching looks pretty, good but not great.There are twelve straps nicely spaced out as needed around the sunshade for securing it to the boat.I am planning to use this for a sailboat application and think that the straps and size will work well in providing shade for either the cockpit or bow area when at the slip or anchored on the Maryland Chesapeake. The quick release buckles are double stitched and look to be mostly durable.

This is a quality shade and although I do not have a center console, I have a cuddy cabin with a tower on it. It works well on my boat also. Having this attached around the bow rail up to the tower makes for a significant temperature drop in the cabin compared to not having it.

I am very fair skinned and will burn easy even with a lot of sunscreen. Think I reapply at a minimum every hour regardless of whether I'm in the water or not. This shade has saved me a lot of money from buying all the sunscreen. Whenever we park at the flats we put this shade up which allows me to be out with everyone else around the boat and still be shaded.Great for kids as well, they can play on the boat and still have the shade. We also have a portable fan we use for air circulation for those really hot days. Now the kids are not cranky or burnt and it helps to protect the boat as well.The blue color is really pretty and easy to see. We have a dark blue on the boat already and this lighter blue pairs really well with it.Made of really good quality material and the straps are adjustable so you could really put this anywhere you need on the boat. Folds up really easily and does not take up a lot of space.I would really like to get some sort of bag to put this in so we can keep it in the boat and still protect it while in storage. A little carry tote would be perfect for this and a suggestion to the maker to think about including something like that in their production since you cannot keep this up while driving the boat around.

I'm using this on the sten of my boat instead of the bow. I already have a Bimini and just wanted an extension to go over the rear for my passengers. I kept the pointy side still facing forward then added a pole on each side and tied it down to the rear cleates. Now there is plenty of shade.
