Yes there has to be water added to activate the product. Not too much however, and it is better to keep it wet for as long and as often as possible. Even the dew at night is enough to keep it activated.

Yes, this can be used on any artificial pet grass or any installation of artificial grass. However, if your artificial grass has been installed with an antimicrobial fill, the fill will kill the odor-eliminating bacteria in any natural product, leaving you with the smell.

Q: My friend has an issue with rat urine/feces odor in the crawlspace/subarea of his house. Will this work on the odor?

I believe it will help with rat order. I used it in back yard for dog urine and feces and it worked. I also use it to mop my title, which gives a fresh clean smell instead of dog. Again, I believe this product will work.
