Pioneer DJ DM-40 Studio Monitors, Black,4 Inch

I took several hours investigating to purchase a replacement pair of Desktop Speakers and decided on these. Pioneer is a well known quality brand I know and trust. This was the best price I could find and after reading countless reviews and speaking to experts at another Retailer, it became an easy decision to buy these. I have not experienced any of the very minor issues some have had, such as the auto-turn off device being annoying. They are a very powerful pair of speakers for Desktop position. You will experience the very best from these speakers if you position them directly in-line level with your ears! The range of bass and treble is immense and very impressive. The best Desktop Speakers I could find and that I have experienced for this price.

Really happy with these, I’ve had them for a few weeks now and can’t fault them. Initially they were a little smaller than I expected (Apple MacBook charger in photos for scale) but the small size doesn’t affect the sound. I haven’t pushed these over half way on the volume dial, they’re loud enough at that level.Really nice and premium design, they’re clean and don’t pick up dust that easily. The included cables were good quality to match. Only other speakers I’ve used were the KRK Rokits and I prefer these Pioneer, the value dial at the front is perfectly placed too. A great set of speakers at a competitive price.

Bought for £100 as a second use item, this Pioneer DJ speakers are actually in as new condition. Set them up in my studio (which is set-up to be neutral sonically - using KRK speakers normally.) I got a really nice sound out of the box and didn't need to tweak the speakers within the neutral eq of the room. Brilliant - I'm now listening to background music of all genres without any twiddling. Fantastic purchase - well done Amazon and Pioneer.

Really good monitors with fantastic sound quality especially when used with a DAC but only lasted 4 years before suddenly dying and i've had much cheaper and lower quality speakers that have lasted much longer than that.

I love these,I brought some from the Amazon warehouse with scratches so got a reduced price but they came with no visible mark's or scratches also in the original box sealed so I'm happy.The sound is epic for studio work so don't buy cheap and be dissatisfied get these as they will last for years I expect.

For this price is no brainer. Can hardly hear myself on top volume. It is great sound which Pioneer is giving from years back. Superb, excellent! Only remote control would make it 10/10. If I could I would give 9.99/10 ... so far brilliant equipment! You can rock small home party with ease. Floor shaking good quality audio. Take it!

I bought these as im trying to create a home studio, they have a standard 3.5 mm jack that connects to your computer and overall sound really good, for how small and cheap they are im very impressed although when they arent playing anything, they emit a small amount of white noise, only noticable if you are very close to the speakers. overall a very good product, would recomend. :)
