In many ways we liked this product. It is reasonably priced and fits nicely into the glazing we use to separate our catio from our bedroom. The cats quickly got used to going in and out.The problem is that the weatherstripping starts to come off within a few weeks of installation and inhibits the door operation. We've tried reattaching it, and this works for awhile, but eventually it comes off again and prevents the cats from using the door.We've emailed the seller about replacement weatherstripping, with no response. And, in some ways, it probably doesn't matter because any replacement would likely come off as well. We now consider the use of weatherstripping to control the door to be a design flaw and are looking for cat doors using magnets to hold the flaps closed. Maybe they'll work better for longer. Or maybe they'll have problems of their own.

My cats can come and go easily and see in and out for security.
