Darrell Lea soft-eating licorice has been produced in Australia since the 1920s. Only in the past few years has it been imported to the United States. It has a pleasingly sweet, mild licorice taste. Unlike some licorice, it is extremely soft and easy to chew. And what's nice about it is that it doesn't stick to your teeth. Moreover, it's free of any preservatives. An ingredients list follows: Wheat glucose syrup, wheat flour, molasses, treacle, sugar, food starch modified or wheat fiber, palm oil, water, licorice extract, natural flavor, mono & diglycerides, salt.
