Listen to the Yoto daily podcast! Such a great feature!
We love our Yoto. From the myo cards where we can add whatever content fits the needs of our family values and give our daughter the ability to choose what she would like to listen to from those options. We do not do screen time yet but we have a book/music loving toddler who can’t completely verbalize what she wants yet but has a bit of an independent streak already. The cards we have purchased have been amazing! The sounds quality is great, the icons are adorable and not overly stimulating. The cards are sturdy and have survived some abuse already. We will be purchasing a mini for its portability and a happy we will have the best of both worlds.I absolutely must mention the daily podcast, Yoto daily. Yoto daily was not one of the features that sold us on buying our Yoto initially, but it’s now possibly our favorite. We bought it for our book and music loving 14 month old and so we would be able to have family record themselves reading/talking to her. Now we also have Jake as an extended part of our family. We began using the Yoto during our daily family morning routine and we now start everyday with Jake on Yoto daily. While our daughter may still be a bit young for some of it, It creates lots of good conversation and bonding for us. Even my husband and I learn new things almost daily. As our daughter gets older we are looking forward to her participating in the draw alongs and maybe even sending in her own messages.Thank you Yoto for creating such wholesome content that stretches across oceans and continents to connect our family to so many kind strangers that teach us about the different places, people, and traditions of the world. BIG thank you to Jake for being with us while we make our coffees and breakfast and being such a great way to start our day, everyday.

Incredibly Amazing!
We use this every day! It is so durable and my kids love it. It has been dropped a few times and still works perfectly. To give them the power to choose stories with the cards and change tracks with the buttons is great. I also love that it has the ability for you to limit how loud they can turn it.The only downside is the headphone ability does not always work. I still give it 5 stars because it has been so easy to use!

Small Machine Packs A Lot of Entertainment
I love the Yoto! Possibly more than my three boys do. And they really love it! We bought the full size and it’s still pretty compact! The colors are fun and vibrant but not over stimulating or obnoxious. You can set parental settings for max volume which is great! There’s a little music station that comes on it, a daily podcast that is THE BEST, and it plays sleepy sounds at night time! That’s all without a card! The cards are a whole other story! I’m so impressed with all of this. I did not think I’d like this device because I’m pretty anti technology, but this thing is actually really cool. You could use it as a baby sitter if that’s your jam. Or you can use it as an extra layer to your active play time with your children. My kiddos and I listen to the podcasts together and we have recorded our own cards and listen to them together! It’s so fun! I highly recommend! This is a great value!

Kid friendly and sturdy
If you’re considering the Yoto Player for your 7-year-old, it’s a fantastic option! I recently bought this for my 7 year old son and he loves it! At this age, they’ll likely enjoy the independence it offers—choosing their own story cards, listening to audiobooks, or exploring podcasts like Yoto Daily. The mix of educational and fun content is great for sparking curiosity, and its simple design ensures they can use it without needing much help.I just it came with more preloaded content.

Absolutely love this
This is the greatest gift we could have gotten our young school-aged child. I love that there are lots of ways to use it!Our kiddo loves to listen to stories on cards (seriously, never seen this child sit still for so long!), podcasts, and music. There's an app for the adult to use and HUGE bonus points for being able to set a max volume from your phone! (No more, "turn it down!" because I have set the max volume to an acceptable level.) You can actually control everything from the app, including the cards, podcasts, etc. We've only gotten a few cards so far, but the cards have enough on them to keep them busy for a while (about 40 minutes each so far). The controls are easy enough for most kids to use. I love that the Yoto can grow with them, you can record your own cards, there's tons of stuff for older kids too. Worth every penny!

At least I know what it is now
I have mixed feelings about the Yoto Player. On the one hand, it is clearly durable, simple, and functional; but on the other hand, I had absolutely no idea what the heck it was until I bought it. They sell this as a magical media player solution for kids, but it was hard to tell what the hardware was or how it operated. This is a cloud based 150 GB MP3 player which is controlled through the app on your phone. It only works via the cloud and will generally be looking to communicate with the cloud via your wifi. The cards act as playlists and what is on those playlists, you will have to buy those cards to get any meaningful description of what they put on them. Vague descriptions of things they have determined are good for a given category does not help me understand what those things are. If the makers were direct and told me what I was buying, I would not have bought the Yoto, but I can see why people like it. If you like the cloud and manage all of your content from your phone, I'm sure this would work for your situation. I bought it as virtually all of my friends like the Yoto and swear by it. The proprietary content on thier platform is woke and all about the current thing, whatever that may be. You can generate your own content if you like and associate whichever content you care for with a given card, so you can procure your own experience. An interesting product, that I wish I understood before I bought it
