Why buy a g24
Lg24. Maybe a cheap nock off, but it dose the exact same job for 1/3 the price. The metal is solid. Dose not bend. The adjustment nobs are polymer which is a questionable choice but seem solid so far. First mount i have had to sand down to fit better but id rather tight than loose. This mount is secure and tough. Itll take care of your nods.

Serves a purpose
It is a bit loose when under weight. When I ran a single device it was not too bad but when I started to run duals on a bridge it got looser. I shimmed up the shroud and helmet and I still have side to side movement and some up and down play. It works it's like 1/4 the price of the real thing so it will serve.

Deceptive, no QC
When I first got it and attached it too my helmet it seemed like an OK clone that would do for the short term. Unfortunately my NVG shipping got delayed and the first time I got a chance to put a J arm in it was after the return windows already closed. The very first time the J arm was inserted the mount popped open as pictured. When I went to tighten the screws the other 2 popped out and entire mount disassembled itself across my garage under it's on spring pressure. The screws appear too small for their holes so as soon as pressure was applied by inserting the J arm the screws ripped right our, and will not stay in even with blue loctite. I didn't expect it to be good but I did expect it to at least function.

fairly stable, fits my helmet and almost the dovetail on nvg, you may need to file the tab for it to work. the lever that unlocks the elevation rails is a bit loose but otherwise its a fairly good arm sturdy enough for hobby or airsoft

not as solid as a real G24, requires modifications to function properly.
Looks almost right. the break away settings are always on, has plastic knobs instead of metal. and the dove tail mount doesn't fit standard NV dove tails with out modification, the latch is too long but can be filed down to work.

Only time will tell.
Not sure if I like the product. Looks like the real deal. Feels not as sturdy though. Never owned a real g24 so I cannot compare the two. But item shipped and arrived on time. Will put it through its paces to see if it’s worth buying
