Minn kota Trolling motor part.
Thumb release was exact part and installation was completed fairly easy. Had to replace keeper pen that was bent on extraction. Works great.

Trolling Motor lever was easy to install once I watched a video
I am 59 and was able to install the trolling motor lever. There are no installation instructions, so I found a video on YouTube. One suggestion is to purchase the pin that is used to attach it as well. When you pull the old pin out it has the potential for bending or being damaged. I was able to bend it back straight and reinsert it with the new lever.

Fit as described
I removed the old one and replaced it with the new one. Everything fit perfect and operated correctly. This little part saved me from buying a whole new trolling motor.

Not Metal
There is nothing wrong with this plastic part except it is not metal as advertised. If plastic is good enough you can get the whole kit (including T-bar and spring) for the same price. I already replaced this part (which was already broken) on a used trolling motor I acquired. I thought a metal part might be more durable but maybe there is no such thing. I'll keep this one as a spare in case the other new one breaks .
