QLLY Adjustable Square Table Leg, 24-40 inch, 60-100cm, Home Office Custom DIY Table Legs, Furniture Leg Set (4, Black)

We purchased 2 sets of these legs from Amazon for two model railroad layout tables. The reason we bought this particular set is that they had a height adjust range that included the approximate height we were looking for (24 - 40 inch height range). Most of the table leg sets we looked at had a max height of 30 inches. These table legs were a pleasant surprise in that they are very sturdy. They are made with a pretty heavy gauge steel that I assume will hold any amount of weight we would need them for (leg is advertised to support 220lbs). The plate that fastens to the bottom of the table allows for eight screws. We actually used a heavier gauge screw than what came with the leg set to fasten the plate to the underside of the table. That is not a shortcoming of the leg, that's just us overengineering for piece of mind. They're brand new so time will tell if these legs will hold up, but it seems like they'll have no problem at all supporting our train layout tables. One note: the picture we included has the table legs sitting on red castors. The castors did NOT come with the legs. We added those ourselves so we can move the tables around if we need to. Very happy with the quality, would buy again, and would recommend.

Took less than 30 minutes to get these out of the packaging and installed onto a board to make a nice table for my microsoldering set up. High quality and easy to install make this product a must have for someone who needs a table FAST! The great thing is that they were the perfect size for what I need and they can adjust to different sizes for other needs I may have in the future.

Pluses:- Very sturdy, each leg has eight screws mounting it to the table top. Thick box steel legs. Not that I would, but I could sit on it without concern. Probably earthquake resistant!- Wide range of height adjustments available so we can keep whatever is on it out of dog access (mine is large) or use it as a low coffee table. That adjustability was what I mostly needed.- Height adjustments available is relatively easy (but requires a screw driver and the table needs to be unloaded)- Each leg has an adjuster to enable leveling, also much appreciatedThings to know:- I didn’t understand that these legs aren’t removable for storage, but I kept them anyway. But if you need that feature, these aren’t for you. It would be at least difficult to convert them to do that.- be sure to check the thickness of your table top. Had I simply mounted it to mine, the screws would’ve poked slightly through the top. The cure: number 6 washers from Home Depot.- mine arrived without assembly instructions. I tried to get the instructions by requesting via Amazon, but no one responded. Luckily, I’ve installed similar ones before so it wasn’t hard to figure out. Disappointing that such a simple and easily addressed request was ignored.

I used these adjustable square metal legs to support a 4x8x2" Butcher Block table; they were easy to set up and are remarkably stable. The only modification needed was to use 1/1/4" lag bolts for the leg fastener plate to secure the weight of the Butcher Block. The legs have multiple large adjustment settings as well as a micro-screw adjustor with soft plastic pad on the bottom.These legs will serve most purposes well and do not need side bracing if screws are replaced with lag bolts in pre-drilled holes.

We are pleased with the solid, sturdy table legs we have received. They worked well with our project, a large, donated, custom-made computer table, so are using a second set for a table for my office.As stated, the table legs are adjustable, but not only by the foot-pad, which adds at most 0.7", primarily to deal with an uneven floor, but also by the telescoping legs, which allows the height to be changed in 2" increments over 16".In addition, it would even be better if the DISTANCE between the height-fixing screw holes were SMALLER than the current 2 inches, to allow more flexibility in achieving certain heights.Incidentally, there is about 1/8" space between the inner and outer square square "tubes," which assures the inner tube inserts easily, but that may compromise the stability of the legs somewhat, especially if the holding screws are not tightened securely.In summary, we are happy to have picked the QLLY Adjustable Square Metal Table Legs for our projects.

Don't recommend max height.Attached them to a 3.5 foot workbench top, they are very flexy at max height but was able to hold a tool chest and tools(a full frame bench will always be sturdier). If you are on a budget these are great but if you need a solid workbench look elsewhere.
