OneTigris Quality
OneTigris Tetra reviewSo I decided the time had come to get a tent with a bit more room. After a searching on the Internet & YouTube I found the OneTigris Tetra 160. All the tests & comments seemed positive and as I have some OneTigris gear already I thought Iâd give it a go.The price wasnât too bad and delivery was very quick.Having just spent a long weekend in it, here are my first thoughts.Build quality is excellent, no loose threads or wobbly hems. I like the reflective strips on the guyline points. Helps find the tent in the dark with a torch.I bought a 1.8 x 2.4m cheapo blue tarp to go underneath, as a floor sheet protector/lobby floor. Itâs exactly the right size.Putting the tent up is straightforward enough. Everything fits. The pegs are nice (the loop knots were all loose but it only took a minute to tighten them up). Do not try & grasp the pegs to pull them out of the ground, youâll hurt yourself. Use the loops. I made a âpeg pusherâ rather than use a hammer. A palm-sized block of wood will do. No burring over and/or sharp edges on the pegs then. The central pole snaps together nicely and is confidence inspiring. No need for it to be elasticated inside, I think.I did feel it necessary to replace the guyline on the back-middle (above the mesh panel) with a longer one, as I think it pulls the back out to a better angle. The anti condensation system seems to work very well, I had no problems on three nights of âhot in the day, cool at nightâ weather. We even had some light showers and not a drop got in. I like the âdoorâ and how it can be set up as a wind deflector or sunshade/rain shelter. As for the amount of room, as has been said already, thereâs plenty for one person plus gear - two would be a squeeze!Packing up is the reversal of assembly and it all fits nicely into the stuff sack. Take care with the rigid inserts on either end of the long mesh ventilation strip (at the back) make sure they âgo with the rollâ, if you see what I mean.Itâs very light (I didnât weigh it, if you want stats, watch the review on YouTube by Luke of The Outdoor Gear Review). So far though, I would say I definitely recommend this tent.I hope this helps you with any decision making!!After the latest trip. Conditions, warm in the day, getting colder at night. Light winds.Yes, there was definitely a condensation issue. No problem for a solo camper like me. Avoiding the inside surfaces might be more of an issue if there are two of you.It did chuck it down with rain on one night. No leaks.

Good
This is a good trekking pole tent in moderate weather I have the flawless version you can purchase an inner mesh if required there are lots of options I think the ventilation is a big plus as it is outer fly tent I use a cheap bike tarp or plastic dust sheet as an inner ground sheet good headroom that can be adjusted to certain extent using the trekking pole size to weight ratio is great as mentioned at the rear no guide points but is stable except probably in high winds the price has gone up a bit so I would try and wait for discount price don't forget you need one trekking pole to set up obviously with pegs and guys which are provided

tremendous tetra
I think this new One Tigris Tetra tent is brilliant. Its dead-easy to pitch (in may ways its very similar to the DD Pyramid XL when used with the DD Solo Mesh Tent), and very sturdy in windy conditions with the extra guy-out points. the inner is really roomy, providing plenty of space for your sleeping pad and any accessories, and the porch is huge, so cooking out of any adverse weather is easy.

Lightweight
Brilliant little tent, very light and packs down small. Lots of room inside,I'm 6 foot and could lie down no problems,I could also get my pants on standing up...a feat at my age (53).Used this tent for a couple of days at ABR Festival...a bit of condensation in the morning but not too bad for a single skin tent, very quick to erect and pack away... Not bad but not great
the bath tub flooring is stitched into thew main tent, therefore what condensation that does form runs down the inside of the tent and fill the bath tub floor with water. If I was to buy again I would buy without the floor and bug net. Purchase a separate one and place inside.

Dissapointing
The tie out point stitching is so weak that my first attempt of pegging it out, the tab that's stitched to the main body of the tent that the guy lines are connected to ripped away from the tent when simply pegging the corners out.
