if you have your original headlights in good condition, you should not try this junk
1 the connector for Low High beam appears to be the same shape as in the car but its loose when connected and power wont stay conencted, Zip ties wont help2 adjustments are very limited. Cut off line was so far from horizontal - yes no kidding, so bad it looks like your left wheel is on the curb3 you can move cut off line it up down but nothing can be done with the wrong angle.4 Two extra wires to connect, use your imagination - to the battery or parking lights, you will need skills soldering or splices.5 get your own wire protective tubes, extra wires to run DRL to battery , zip ties, relays, it comes with nothing.6. DRL brighhtness is so poor you wont see it at the daylight at all, which defeats the DRL purpose.7 I tested it on the bench... and its going back. before you install it make sure you understand that you have to remove the entire front bumper and all plastic under8 seller is playing around with return process sending you a "label" which is not prepaid and I am stuck with it now waiting for days before I can file complaint a-z guarantee, because amazon says "lets wait and see if seller is willing to provide another, a prepaid label".

Great upgrade!
I got these to replace the factory headlight housings after growing tired of the lousy light output that the default housings offered. These were pretty easy to install, all told I think I spent about 2 hours on the project (this included swapping the halogens included with this set with LED bulbs). You'll need to know some really basic wiring, the kit comes with everything that you need including the hot splice blades. I split the lines and wired in plugs because I think it's better than the splice blades, but to each their own.Overall, I'd highly recommend these lights, especially if you drop in some H1 LED bulbs.

Nice look, takes Xtra work to install. Tips included
So I bought these headlights after seeing other mixed reviews. Overall nice looking product. Bad wiring and quite cheap, but it works. Here are my tips if you buy this and install them on your Xterra.1. You use your original turn signal bulb with this kit. This will NOT fit without moving the rubber grommet that is next to the hole in the new headlight hosing. You will want to connect this before bolting in the headlight. The grommet is too close to the hole, if you peel it up, you can get the bulb to fit in. Or, you could hack up the bulb casing a bit, but I found it easier moving the grommet.2. The extra lights (3 small white leds and halo bulbs) have separate wires and come with clips to piggy back off of the driving light wire bulb. This means that the halos will only be on when the driving (parking) lights are on. If you want the halos or 3 leds, or both to be on all the time, you will need to do custom wiring. (find some always on accessory and tap into that) The halo lights are super dim, and I don't trust that they would last long on if they were on all the time, but that is just from other reviews. I left these as only on with parking lights on. I used the included piggy back connectors, but I had to crush them with plyers to get it to make a good connection, hand tight wasn't enough. Also, both my marker bulbs were burnt up, I had no idea that they were there, I thought the side orange bits where just reflectors lol.3. The connector for the low beam bulb and the high beam is not a great fit. When I put these on, one or the other of the bulbs would not work on both sides. The reason why is the plug that plugs into your original headlight bulb doesn't make a good connection. To fix this, you need to bend the male posts a bit, and this will make better contact with the plug. This fixed my low beam bulb not turning on. After looking at this I think this is why many people have had bulbs fail. If you look at the colored wires, you can bend the ones that go to the light that is not turning on. They might also be cheap bulbs and break, although these are H1 standard so you could technically replace them.4. Disconnect the wires from the car body a bit (cut zip ties) and give yourself more slack and plug in ALL lights before bolting these in. The fit for every bulb is tight and finicky. You will pull your hair out if you try to bolt them in, then put in all the bulbs/wires.Looks good, I haven't aligned them yet, but the aim is pretty off out the box. I will update this after aligning them and a few months of use. I wouldn't have bought these, but they seem to be the ONLY aftermarket headlights with a non-OEM style. Once installed they look GREAT, minus the dim halos, but the wiring is a hot mess. wires everywhere on the back and not grouped well. Id recommend buying some wireloom tape and fixing it up before you start, I didn't and I regret it, looks terrible with the hood up. Overall so far, I do recommend these, but they aren't perfect and take a lot of work to get working as they should.

Not a drop-in part
Do not buy these if you aren't comfortable doing some wiring yourself. It's pretty easy if you have that base of knowledge and can do it correctly.I don't see anything outstanding with the build quality. It's your usual Chinese hard plastic, nothing new. Once you have everything wired up and organized, put sealant everywhere and make sure your rubber boots are seated.Don't use the flimsy wire taps provided, strip it and join it, maybe even solder it, then reinforce it with heat shrink so nothing cracks. Liberal use of zip ties will reduce stress on wires. The connectors also seem to be too long. Dremel those down. They're likely to work for a little while but once winter rolls around and the metal pins contract even a little, you'll be down one or both sides (ask me how I know). If you can't do that, zip-tie them together as tight as you can.Nothing particularly advanced but I could see it leading to some issues if it's your first rodeo, and you generally do not want to find yourself on dark rural roads with no lights.

Love the new look.
To install them you end up removing the grill and bumper it takes some time and have extra new clips to install too the old ones will need to be replaced. We did need to splice in some more wires because the leads were not long enough that being said I am happy with the new lights. I ordered extra lights for these but not needed they are set up in it already as it comes plug and play so to speak. Thumbs up on these. I took many pictures of the install so you can see how the light housing fits up.
