Decent for a person who wants to try carrying a benchmade before they spend the big bucks. Honestly, after carrying this, I like it and haven’t bought a real benchmade as this works fine and I am not going to cry about wearing it out. Nothing special except the fair price. Sharpens easily too.

I really liked the benchmade bugout mini form-factor, but can't justify the price for such a small knife that would only see light duty useWhat I like:- great form factor and axis lock which I love, essentially a copy of the benchmade bugout- excellent price point for a small knife that you don't have to stress about losing- knife came hair-shaving sharpWhat I'm not enthused about:- plastic handles feel super cheap and are relatively easy to flex. I'm ok with this considering the price. I will look into the compatibility of aftermarket scales if this bothers me- after reading another review I tried flexing the blade and there is a tiny* amount of vertical play in the blade pivot. I tried tightening the pivot bolt but that just binds up the rotation and doesn't take away the play. Obviously the tolerances between the pivot hardware and blade hole are not up to benchmade standards, but also it was $20 at the time of purchase. I'm ok with this given the price but figured it should be mentioned.All in all, I'm pretty excited to have this for backpacking trips and other scenarios where I don't need anything serious, and want something small/lightweight. I do love the fiddle factor of the axis lock and that's what drew my to this vs the plethora of liner lock knives out there. Buy it for the form factor, not with the expectation this is an unbranded benchmade.

Ok the clip is ok, the blade is sharp as Benchmade sends it. But the action and lock are very gritty.Not smooth. Not enjoyable. Not satisfying or quality. It runs the feel of the knife. I bought this to be the go to replacement for my Bugout when wearing slacked or a suit.I just take the green bugout instead. Color matching is not as important as smooth action and good materials. This is worth 20 bucks, not a dime more. And. Not remotely close to a real Benchmade Bugout.

Dont buy. Is not easy open. Very gritty feel. Poor quality.

There's zero doubt that the authentic Benchmade Mini Bugout is definitely smoother.Cons: feels cheaper; steel isn't as quality; just not ultra smooth (without TLC)Pros: it's $22.A couple of years ago I bought the bright orange mini Bugout from Benchmade and I loved it. I have been EDC'ing my Spyderco PM3's lately because the size/weight are more my speed. If you want to 'try' a mini Bugout to see if you like the size/weight/design...this knockoff is perfect. Drop $22...if you hate the size, you're not out $100+... but, if you think the quality of this knockoff is equivalent, it's not.Shut the door of a 2023 Porsche 911, then shut the door of a 1991 Honda Civic. That's the difference. They're both doors, they both shut. But, they're not the same.

Hones well on a ceramic rod.For $20 it's really nice. Looks like the Benchmade Mini Bugout with a few exceptions...Great for everyday carry, for those on a budget, those dealing with the hardship of inflation and or for those looking for an ultra light carry option.Cross bar lock is solid, zero blade play.This review is an honest one, item was bought with my own money. This is a great little Bugout Mini clone. I have a full size clone and it's not nearly as nice as this one. This particular knife is almost perfect functionally and finish wise. The blade deploys smoothly when flipping it open with the thumb stud, I admit it's not as smooth as other knives that I own, but it's acceptable. It does have brass washers, not the weak nylon ones that you typically see on cheaper knives. The axis lock works like butter and opens and closes like a more expensive name brand knife. The axis lock itself has retention springs that keep the lock in place when opened or closed. The blade is very sharp out of the box, perfectly aligned and the finish is very nice with no blemishes. The handle scales are super lightweight and also flawless. The pocket clip is the deep carry design with a nice amount of bite to it so you don't have to worry about losing it. I would recommend this knife to anyone like myself who likes the ergonomic design but doesn't believe in paying $100+ for a real Bugout Mini.Update: I liked the first knife so much I decided to buy a second. When the second knife arrived I noticed it had spots on the blade that looked like the beginning of rust. I tried some light oil but the spots didn't change. I sent that knife back for a replacement. The replacement that I received was just as nice as the first knife I had bought so I'm keeping it at a 4 star rating.

This works well for the price. Like the blade, very sharp. Have this also in carbon fiber handle. Unsure if this is truly Sv30, cannot trust Chinese companies, no government controls on truth in advertising. Beyond that I am very happy. Like the size, slip it into the watch pocket on my jeans. If I lost it I would buy another. I guess thats about the best review you could give, I would buy it again.
