Q: I feel I'm in between a size 10 and 11. Too bad they aren't in half sizes too. Anyone else have this situation?

While I'm not a half size these are cotton and do shrink. I will not there is no elastic. It's like a cotton band around legs and waist. I thought it was weird at first but after several washings the size is reduced and they are actually comfortable.

Q: These state hi cut but then states brief also. What cut it’s this?

There considered a brief because there not a Bikini Style, The Hi cut is less material on the sides. If you check the pictures for both styles you should be able to see the difference. I prefer the Hi Cut. I swim in regular brief's.

Q: Why are these considered "retired?"

I don’t know what retired means but the elastic on them is not very good. It’s a thin band. I thru them out. I was hoping there were like the ones I bought at target. But the waist band was weak and not wide enough.

Q: What are the measurements for size 12? The size chart does not include 11 or 12.
