Well...
The media could not be loaded. I guess it works pretty good when you use your other hand at the end to manipulate the sound. I buy animal calls to call my children in the store so I don't have to hear my squeaky voice lol . I usually use a crow call but this will be softer I wish it would work without my other hand on the end of the call.

Lost it. Found it! Blow it!
OK so I had this on my dove field, Is it effective? I do not know. I am a optimistic hunter. If I read that peeing on my shoes will help me attract more game I will have some stinky pee colored boots. I did lose it in a corn patch I had planted there, Therefore, I put my special operator military skills in to action ( no bs there .I thought I was tough as a youngun and I found it) Does it sound realistic? I think so. I put on my sexy dove call lips and gave it a blow or three. I can guarantee it at least occupies the mind if you don.t live in a major flyway. If you are a real manly hunter you will buy one and a mojo or six then sit there and sweat and talk about how someone nearby is baiting.

It will work , but better options
Bought this, faulks d8 and primos call. The primos dove call sounds absolutely horrible. This one was alot better, but still sounded a bit off on first, third-5th notes. 2nd was spot on. Faulks d8 was the best sounding over all, but second tone was a bit off.

Haydel continues its quality
I've been using Haydel game calls for more years than I care to admit. Digression, My first experience with Haydel, going back into the 1990's when I was heavy into archery deer hunting, I could not find my go to deer grunt call. I tested almost every one I could find, and wasn't happy until I tried haydels call. I was so impressed with the sound and when I actually field tested, man! Finally found my call. I was so happy went back to store and bought 2 more! Now back to 2016. I bought their dove call, tried it out on doves in my back yard. I was able to get doves to answer back within a few minutes of practice. I hunted with it for only about an hour this year, and was able to turn one dove in flight, even with my Labradors walking around.Once I figure out doves and how they "respond/talk" I will be able to turn more, more efficiently. The call produces dove sounds very accurately. Would/will buy again. I can't wait to get more time in woods this season!
