Q: How do you unlock the nozzle? I cannot turn it to spray.

If you look carefully at the top of the yellow spray cap you will see a small blue tab (part of the blue cap) that slightly enters the yellow spray cap. Push down the blue tab and the yellow cap will rotate in either direction. Good luck..... -Robert-

Q: Is it ok to lube a sliding oven rack with this?

You could do it but your oven would smell like wd 40 for awhile. WD 40 and roast turkey just don't mix.

Q: If you have a straw from an old can will it connect to this nozzle for getting into tight areas?

No. It expels as a spray only but I also bought a gallon can which I put in spray bottles with adjustable nozzle for those purposes. I recommend spending a few dollars extra and get a high quality spray bottle and not a cheap $0.59 one. I got one from Lowe's for $3.00 with adjustable nozzle for a wide spray to a fine jet stream as with the straw. I got tired of buying aerosol cans just to have to toss them when the pressure was gone and the can was still 3/4 full. Hope this helped.

It is aerosol but it is hand pumped (non pressurized container). WD - 40 is flammable
