This is a great 40.00 knife.
I have the 300+ Benchmade knife and this is not the same. This is a great 40.00 knife that fits the blade and ergonomics of a 300.00 knife. The scales are hit and miss but that can be replaced if you want. I bought two and I'm not changing anything. They are solid knifes for work. I keep the Benckmade in a box, this knife will get used.

Not great but...
A perfectly serviceable knife for all around use. Stays sharp enough. Great for breaking down boxes. This will not be making it into my bugout gear or edc stuff. It will stay by my front door for a general utility knife until I break it or give it away.It is a fantastic likeness to the knife this is based on. Grip scales could be smoother but for the price it's a great way to figure out if the full size genuine crooked river knife is for you. Also if you've never tried a locking bar, axis lock or pivot lock before this is a decent one to figure out if that's for you too. It is a good looking knife but I have serious doubts about it holding up to long term rough use.It opens easily with a little 3in1 oil or hoppes and a few openings. It does lock up tight and securely. For cheap steel it is assembled well. Everything is centered and operates as it should. If you like the way it looks but don't wanna/aren't sure about spending $300 for the real deal this might scratch the itch. It's a great likeness but it's still a cheap knockoff.

Great knife for the price
I went to replace my lost Benchmade crooked river mini and this popped up. I figured for the price. I could at least check it out. I’ve been using it as my every day carry so I won’t lose another real bench made that I paid five or six times as much for.

Its LARGE
Out of all the Amazon Axis Lock knock offs, this is certainly the largest. The Bugout knockoffs I've tried have had good action. This one isn't quite there. It takes a solid edge and it looks good. The "wood" scales look convincing from a distance. Overall it's s serviceable knife but I don't think I'd buy it again.

Below Average Knock-Off
Materials, fit and finish are average at best. There is quite a bit of blade play and the blade action is just okay. Would not recommend purchasing or for everyday use

Great for price, but loctite the thumbscrew before you lose it.
Is very sharp. The screw for thumb assist opening keeps unscrewing and I’m afraid I’m going to lose the 2 halves. I’ll try some loctite on it if it can hold out a bit. The grips are very much plastic instead of stabilized wood and not very well fitted, but it think the knife will do just fine and am happy with it for the price.

Jus buy it and loosen the screw a bit and you’ll love it
The media could not be loaded. Needed the pivot screw loosen an some oil other than that it’s jus as good axis lock as benchmade just needs lil more sanding on the scales and a better blade material it would probably be better the real crooked river knife

Blade HEAVY.
I did buy this knowing it was a knock off.The blade is sharp, the action is “smooth”.I have read everybody else’s reviews, and it seems that they are all roughly the same, The one thing I don’t see anybody saying is how blade heavy it is. When you pull back the axis lock back, because of the weight of the blade It is A contrast effort to ensure that your fingers will be clear when you close the knife, because you must try to balance the knife.
