I picked this up for longer trips > 1-2 nights. I use an old school safety razor and can “rough it” by applying shaving cream multiple times a shave by hand for short trips, but longer than that and I need a brush to take with me. It’s small, lightweight and travels well. The bristles are soft and didn’t shed. The handle is a bit small, but it’s enough to hold I’m willing to make that sacrifice for the minuscule footprint in my toiletry bag. The case is also excellent, and does some work to keep it from getting deformed when packed.

This is a sweet little shaving brush, it’s soft, and comes in a nice little pouch. It takes up very little space in my toilet bag but still does a great job foaming up a lather.

My transition to shaving soaps (having previously also used shave oils, foams, etc.) and safety razors (switching from cartridge razors) coincided with an uptick in travel, so I decided to add a travel shaving brush to my travel kit. It does the job for me, and is smaller than the brush I use at home. Being relatively new to this style of shaving, I can't answer whether it's stiff enough compared to other brushes, but it definitely feels soft. The thing I notice is it doesn't air-dry very quickly, so when I pack up to check out of the hotel, I have to squeeze it out with a towel to dry it as much as I can before it goes in the luggage. Also, the smaller size means it takes a little longer to spread the soap, but that's expected.

Ok, its not really a shave brush...its a makeup brush actually...BUT...it works great, super small - just what you need to travel. Dries quickly and lathers up awesome. Go for it!

Wet shavers beware. This brush is WAY too soft for shaving. Maaaayyybe if you use canned foam and for some reason use a brush to maybe put that on? This is softer than a hollywood powderbrush. Softer than the finest 6 hair watercolor brush. You could not kill a mosquito or gnat with it, I promise. Even a softer soap or croap will be hard to load. If you want the short length like I did, move on to an actual shaving brush. This one is mislabled and the seller or company has not used the product. Just another sweatshop looking to increase its market by also selling them for shaving and not just makeup powder.I just figured for the price I would try, because I travel a lot and the short length would have worked well.. If the bristles where anywhere close to acceptable. They are not. I do prefer boar level stiffness, but this is absolutely nowhere near any badger either. This is more along the lines of cashmere or long hair rabbit.

It's more of a blush brush....it's ok for travel but probably throw away after my vacation....

Good brush for travel, it takes up almost no room in my bag. The case is okay. For the money, I have no complaints. Be advised, while it doesn't impact usability, this brush feels much more like a small makeup brush than a shaving brush. The bristles are very fine and dense, creating a softer feel than any shaving brush I've ever used.Update after about 8 months: brush has now came out of the handle and is unusable. Dropped from 5 to 3 stars because a brush should last longer in my opinion.

This is straight-up a woman's makeup brush, but it works well as a shaving soap brush, so I can't hate on it for that. And it's way smaller than a typical shaving brush, and comes with its own carrying bag, so it works for me.
