When someone recommends a scent, I find that it can be hard to gauge the value of the recommendation unless I understand a bit about the recommender's scent preferences. So, I'll start by telling you a bit about scents I like before digging into the nuances of my reactions to this candle.MY SCENT PROFILE: I live for interesting scents AND I'm super picky because really strong scents can trigger migraines for me. Plus, I've been burned (pun intended, hehe) by candles that seemingly smell great, but have a lackluster payout when you actually light them. And there are a bevy of scents that are a HARD cringe for me. For example, I'm very much turned off by sickly sweet and gourmand fragrances that often plague the holiday season (I'm looking at you, PSL). I'm drawn to a range of fragrances, from fresh and aquatic (Bon Parfumeur 801) to clean and musky (Bulgari Eau Parfumée Au Thé Blanc). Usually, I make mood-dependent choices about which fragrance to choose for the day.When I think about my perfume library, some of my go-to fragrances that this candle brings to mind are:• Chloé Eau de Parfum• Narciso Rodriguez For Her• Tocca CleopatraABOUT THIS CANDLE: For me, rose is one of those scents that can be hit or miss... in my experience, it's a fine line between cloyingly floral and softly elegant. This candle absolutely falls into the second category! In addition to having a really lovely, gentle scent that envelopes the room, the delicately patterned pink glass container is so. dang. pretty. I'm definitely repurposing the container for cotton swabs in my bathroom after the candle is used up. This candle isn't as cheap as options you'll find at Marshall's or TJ Maxx, but I've found that I get what I pay for when I've bought candles at those stores. I think this candle's gorgeous diffusive fragrance is worth the price. I super recommend this candle as a treat to yourself or a sweet gift for your Anthropologie-obsessed friends.BONUS: A pro tip to help your candles last longer: Use a candle warmer or you can chip off pieces of the candle and use a wax melt warmer.)

Amazing smell, rich. heavy, high-quality, beautiful glass, I ordered it for myself, but it's good as a gift that you won't be ashamed of if you don't have money for an expensive thing.

First time trying this brand which I’d never heard of, and I am happy w the product. I wanted a good quality candle with a clean and natural scent and good “throw.” (But without paying a high end price) No cheap perfumes. The scent “Starlit Golden Fir” smells like a natural pine tree, which is what I was seeking during the Christmas season. The scent fills the air. The container is so pretty and looks good in my space when not in use. (And will be good for repurposing when used up. I put them in the freezer for a hour or so and then the wax remnants are easier to dig out.) I plan to buy more in some other scents.

I really enjoy this brand and these candles. The glass jar holder that it comes in is very nice and has a design in the glass. This comes in multiple sizes, colors and scents.

Looks really nice, smells OK

Haven’t used it yet, but the smell right out the box is strong… it smells more sandalwood than rose, but it’s very unisex fragrance… Almost smells like an Arab men’s cologne mixed with rose water. Either way, I think it’s good for the price.. haven’t used it yet, but I feel it shouldn’t cause too much trouble.
