Great battery
This battery is good. I don't expect to have a 100% performance on an after the market battery. I charged it to full capacity then left it on for 48 hours and it only dropped to 49%. This is a good performance. It comes with accessories and installation 1instructions. I love the magnetic screwdriver as it makes it easy to pick the screws. I will recommend to anyone looking for a good battery.

Perfect Battery Replacement Kit for Samsung Note8
This review is for Viimon Samsung Note8 Battery Replacement Kit. The battery in my Note8 had started to expand. The expansion was enough to push one of the long seams open on the phone. There are many choices out there for a replacement battery. There are also a lot of replacement batteries out there claiming to have as much as double the mAh capacity over the stock battery. From looking at reviews and testing, those super high capacity ratings turn out to be a lie. I wanted to go with the stock 3,300 mAh rated battery in hopes of getting a good quality one. This battery actually looks identical to the one that iFixit offers. This kit included everything need for a start to finish battery replacement. The first step was to open the phone case. This was less tricky for my situation since almost half the case seam was already open, however, because the battery had already expanded, I could not use heat to soften the adhesive that keeps the back sealed to the phone. The instructions say that heating an expanded battery risks the battery catching fire. I used the included four picks to carefully cut through the adhesive and keep the case open. Once I was able to remove the back, I then had to use the spudger to scrape the adhesive off. This was by far the most time consuming part. I found it best to use the spudger to peel away the adhesive, and I rolled the adhesive away as I went. This part took about an hour to do. Next is unscrewing and removing the antenna that covers the battery. The battery was a little tricky to remove. Even though my battery was expanded, I did need to use a hair dryer on low heat to warm up the screen face of the phone to get some heat to transfer to the adhesive that holds the battery in placing. I also had to be careful not to pry the battery out too hard since the phone screen is under the battery. Once I was able to get the battery to start to move it went much easier. Then I had to remove the rest of the battery adhesive, apply the new battery adhesive, and install the battery. This part was easy. Next was putting the antenna back. Next is carefully line up the new phone case adhesive. It is important to take your time here to line it up evening. Now is time to carefully connect the fingerprint sensor cable. I found it easiest to have the phone face down at the edge of a table with the cable near me, other side of case closed, and using the splunger to push the cable onto the connection. Now be carefully to have the phone back lined up correctly and apply pressure to seal the case with the adhesive. The entire battery replacement was about two hours start to finish. The battery had about a 60% charge out of the box, and everything worked flawlessly. I charged the phone to full, and for the first 30 minutes, the battery life meter declined quickly. However, after that it slowed down to normal. The instructions say to do a few complete battery cycles for it to be optimized. So far everything is going great. This was definitely the right kit to buy. The key is to go slow and be careful when removing the back of the phone. You don't want to crack the case or accidentally cut any wires. This was definitely the right battery replacement kit to buy.

Works well so far.
I was able to get my phone back to working. I watched several videos and paused my way through the process. I had nothing to loose as the phone battery had popped the back off and was useless before.

Nice set. Bad battery.
The screwdriver, instructions, glue template all worked well. However, the replacement battery was barely better than my original S8 battery which only lasts about 2 hours. I gained a little bit of duration by turning every app off that I could. I just changed the battery so I could use the camera. Now, I will still have to carry a long a battery pack.

Great kit with all nessecary parts
All the required tools were included other than a heat gun. Removing the battery was definitely the most difficult part because there is a significant amount of adhesive on the back side but once heated it is manageable. The entire process took about 30 minutes from start to finish. I replaced the battery about a week ago after having the phone for 4 years and have noticed a significant improvement in battery life. Only time will tell how long the increased battery performance will last but well worth the $.

No longer bulging, and looks new again
Old battery randomly budged over night so bad that it cracked the back. Since I was replacing the back anyway and didn't need to worry about cracking the original back housing or not, this install was super easy. Though, I can see it being a tedious job if you are trying to preserve the original back.I'd recommend spending the $13 and getting a new back as well though, save the headache of having to worry about cracking it.Even if you are planning on saving and reusing the original, they are cheap. Would be better to have one on hand just in case you do end up cracking it.As far as capacity, I'm honestly not worried about if the battery is of real capacity or not. My note 8 is just a backup phone now, and is mostly used as a digital clock and alarm, on a stand on my dresser. Though I do have some alternate accounts for games on it, it's rarely used other than for time.My main thing is it's no longer bulging, and it turns on, looks new again

Samsung 8S replacement battery
Purchased to replace the 5 yr old fast draining battery. This battery works but did nothing for battery life better than what it replaced.
