No you get the bare drive - no screws or cables - you need the retail box if you want screws included or just buy a separate set of screws

Q: what goes in those eight pins socket? is it ready to use after power and serial ata cable?

Other guy is wrong, they're not jumpers. On 2.5" drives you'll often see 4 pins (if any) - they're a serial connection for diagnostic stuff, if there's more than 4 sometimes some are jumpers (and the rest diagnostic) for things like "wait to be told to spin up" (useful in big environments where 1000s of drives powering up (they draw more power spinning up) would cause problems), "pretend you're a smaller size" for compatibility with systems that get confused or just can't work with drives over a certain size You don't need to worry about these, unless you know you need to worry about them, so as a home user just don't touch them

Yes it is an original brand new unused hard drive made by Western Digital and has 2 year warranty

Q: Does anyone know the depth of the 2tb laptop drive? Description says 102mm but that sounds wrong as newer model is showing 7mm

Hi, this is confusing the WD20SPZX WD Blue sata 2T is definitely 7mm, most are or they would not fit the laptop drive bays, I have looked up this model and it does appear to be 7mm high so just be a typo. Hope this helps
