It does work but mildly; excellent value for the weight
I have a 24ft RV. I keep one in the dashboard and one in the living area in back and rotate them periodically. The baking heat of the daytime dashboard drys out the front one. I rarely bother to microwave them. Note that the indicator dot is not in anyway connected to the internal beads that absorb the moisture so, after you get to know the product, I recommend ignoring the dot. One of these days, I will get into the product and examine the beads directly but will have to do that in such a way that it still can be microwaved.They work slowly but adequately and I consider the two as essential equipment. I can definitely tell they work to moderate the living area and reduce (but not eliminate) the inside fogging of the front glass. But I do not routinely hangout in high humidity areas so YMMV.Also, don’t make my mistake and place the bag directly in contact with window glass (windshield or otherwise). Over time, the temperature differential can crack the glass.

It works exactly as described
I keep this product in a classic car that is currently under restoration and that has issues with proper sealing at the windows and doors. This product has managed to keep the interior of the vehicle moisture-free and dry in an area that is known for its relatively rainy climate, Seattle. I would recommend this product to anyone who looking for something to keep their car free from being damp and exposed to moisture.
