This works well for a streaming setup i have where i wanted to add in some lighting but couldn't have it directly in front or behind me so having an arm that extends out to hold it seems like the best way forward.It's used this both for the lighting as well as for a camera mount which is indie of the ring light anyway so it's sort of a dual purpose.It has a way over engineered support plate that is wall mounted, then the arm is fixed on to that via a couple of bolts which also act as the side to side hinge for the bracket.The mount on the end is a standard one that works in most cameras and selfie lights so shouldn't be a problem no matter what you decide to mount and with the extendable arm and adjustable pitch you can get it to the exact position you want just by loosening up a couple of butterfly bolts.

This is a very strong and durable bracket. The surface of the product is smooth, and it looks of good quality. It is heavy in the hand, and it is firmly installed on the wall. It can adjust various angles at will, and it can also be stretched or shortened, no matter how it is The transformation is very smooth, and the operation is simple and easy. It does the job, but I am waiting for the day when my camera will fall off due to the absolutely horrible construction. The end fitting that is meant to hold whatever you want to mount on it, is held in place by just 2! little rivets and the whole thing is wobbling in the tube.It is horrible, hazardous and is a recipe for disaster, causing property damage.Don't expect to mount anything heavy on it like big studio lighting, if you don't want it to potentially fall on you, or on whatever you have underneath.

The only con is that it didn’t include any instructions and only concrete bolting. Other than that I love it! I didn’t want the original ring light stand to get in the way while working & the boom arm not only looks more professional but helped save space!
