I had prediabetes. I bought these plates to help me monitor and lay out perfect portions so I could reverse my prediabetes.These plates helped a lot, I lost weight as a result and by eating right I reversed my prediabetes in 3 months! 👍

I ordered 4 plates (12"). Absolute high quality. I'd say, for an extra few bucks go ahead and purchase the 12" because it includes the 'fruit' section. And we all need to eat fruit, right? It's a great habit to get into, even if just a few grapes or half a banana, it's a smart idea to include it. Also, since I'm a volume eater and love to binge, I want to see a lot of food on my plate. I really like that the visuals are there to remind me what to do. I don't think I'll ever serve myself on another plate. This is it for me.

These were purchased as a reminder to eat meals that have the correct proportions between food groups. Many of the similar products are plastic and not very attractive. This is so nicely made that it looks very decorative and it doesn't feel like a cheep toy. One warning is that it is sized a bit larger than the more common plastic plates. My dietitian thinks the portion sizes will then be a bit large, but you can adjust accordingly.

Love these plates!
So pretty and heavy. Love food portions. Ceramic is nice. I thought this would be a kids plate, but it is a perfect size adult plate. I would highly recommend.

They are pretty and heavy. I have used the portion plates a couple of time only. I will keep them. Easy to clean. Portions are portions and they are small which it helps if you are reducing your portions. It reminds you also of all the veggies, and proteins you can combine.
