Brilliant product. Beware of cheap copies and seconds. I ordered what I thought was the same product from ZFE and it is faulty- water pours out from the bottle. Looks like a second on inspection!!!

The cones have a tendency to fall out quite easily wiith pressure from a full water bottle. They just about did the job but I think they were helped by the fact that there was a lot of rain while I was on holiday so the plants didn't have to rely on them solely. I do think they are rather expensive for what they are and there is no guarantee that they will work exactly as they should.

I bought these really hoping for the best. Unfortunately after buying two sets of these, the 2L bottles of water emptied within 3 or so hours. After giving them a test run initially before going on holiday, I found that out of the 8 I had, 5 emptied pretty quickly and 3 seemed to work. The leak seems to be where the plastic screw section attaches to the ceramic, rather than it being an issue with the screw thread that attached to a bottle.On second attempt, all 8 bottles emptied quickly, meaning I didn’t bother using them. These might work better with the smaller 500ml bottles as there is less weight, I don’t know.I might try using plumbers tape next time which might improve them. I really wanted these to work, but for me, they didn’t.

Fantastic little invention. Pop them in your brackets and posts and fill with water and the water is gradually absorbed keeping your pots moist through the hot days. You can also add a water bottle by screwing it into the neck of the ceramic cone so that while away there is sufficient water to keep the pots watered.

good product but some worked better than others for delivering the water to the plants I had to get the angle right in my hanging baskets but my plants did survive for a week without water

Expensive for what you get (although much cheaper on Amazon than garden centres). Main piece of advice is don’t drill holes in bottle top as instructed. This causes the bottles to empty in a few days only. Doesn’t fit all plastic bottles.

After many of the other reviews I was sceptical but this works. Once the top green part (first photo in the review) is removed most bottles fit the aquasolo. Whilst away we used this for 7days with 1.5l bottles- came back to thriving plants! If you’re going away or just need a watering boost during a hot season the Aquasolo will help!
