This book is very good.

I never thought that I will need a book like this. It’s a great thing that there’s a book like this. I hope this will be readily available in our country.Good thing there’s Amazon.

Full disclosure: I don’t have a kid in my life to give this book to. I bought it purely for myself (24 years old, currently fighting Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) and it made me cry in the best way possible. It was full of good information with great illustrations that made me laugh a little, too. It’s full of kindness and gentleness, and just the right amount of encouragement balanced with truth. It would be perfect for kids, but such a good read for any age!

This is a great book for children who are either about fto, or taking chemotherapy themselves or have a family member or a friend, who is either taking chemo or about to.Chelsey explains chemo and why it’s needed, how it’s given, who gives it and what to expect while someone is going through chemotherapy in a way that’s simple, matter of fact and not so scary.
