Very very sharp out the box. Looks like a good quality and not too heavy even with this small size cut the chicken like a butter. Now people come here and keep saying this is Chinese and not Japanese. Translation of the writing is Japanese and showing the address in Japan. But even if its Chinese i don't care because for this price it is cutting as good as any Japanese knife out there.oh there website is dot jp too so very unlikely is all fake one. Some people this it still 1940 when german was center of the technology and industrial stuff. Just few months ago China mimicked the sun fusion for 18 minutes. Just let that sink for few minutes and than think if they can't make a good knife. Definitely value foe money

Very versitile
I am pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use for more detailed work given its size. Very comfortable to hold and manoeuvre. I'm using it as a utility and paring knife. Well built too and sharp.

Phenomenal pairing knife
The media could not be loaded. This is a must have of any kitchen. It's sleak design is easy to use for a beginner or a professional. It come straight out of the box sharp as anyone would hope and the price is well worth the value.It's grip is comfortable the the size is exactly what one is looking for in a pairing knife.The only reason that's It's 4 stars is the tip of the knife is not as strong as I would like leaving the functionality more to someone looking for this specific style instead of a general pairing knife.However that being said the knife will work perfectly for jibs of this size

Chefs knife
Absolutely excellent knife so sharp it would cut the devil himself. Keep it boxed after use do not put it in knife draw, or better yet use a magnetic knife holder.The way I see it you get what you pay for and the knife should last for years. Definitely recommend investing.
