Excellent quality!
Every Pink Sun product I've ever bought has been excellent quality, but I was extra impressed with these. I make my own almond milk and I normally just get supermarket ones but I'd recently seen an article about the difference good almonds make and as organic are a little too expensive I decided to go for a brand I trust and I wasn't disappointed. These are so much larger than the ones I've bought in a supermarket, and nice and plump. I also decided to see how much difference it makes making the almond milk without the skin as these are nice and big. Once I removed the skins I expected to see lots of bruised nuts but out of 260g there was only 3 or 4 bruised nuts which is pretty amazing and shows the quality of these. Whilst the milk is more neutral tasting done without skins (so great for cereal) I actually prefer the whole nut taste for lattes. For anyone thinking about trying to make their own nut milk you won't be sorry! Once you taste it you won't care about the effort involved, there is no comparison with ready made, not even with expensive ready made! I will say it does taste better with these larger nuts than what I've used before too.I've also used blitzed these to make some keto bars and I think they taste better when using the whole nut.

Comparison of almond suppliers
I really like almonds and have been buying almonds from several amazon suppliers for a while. I like to try new suppliers. But sometimes get bad surprises.Zeinas raw almonds are so far the best.I've tried- Zeina- Pink Sun- Chandras- Whole foodsThey are in order of best to worst.Whole Foods one was the worst ever, they tasted old and mouldy. Had to give them to the animals.Chandras are good and tasty but once in a while you get a bitter rotten almonds which stays in your mouth for a while... like 1 in every 50 almondsPink Sun are good as tasty, but like Chandras have occasionally a bitter rotten one, like 1 or 2 per kg.Zeinas taste is the best so far. Plus I haven't caught a single bad tasting almonds in all the 5 kgs I've bought. For me it's a winner.Pink sun and Zeina are my go to!

Fab quality as usual
I changed to these almonds after discovering that usual shop bought ones are pasteurised. As a raw foodist I want my food as natural as possible. I was concerned at first whether there would be a difference etc. and can confirm I know these are truly raw as when soaked the skins are much harder to remove than with shop bought. This is good! Th nuts are smaller than shop bought but delicious....and great value for money :)

For me worked out better roasted.
I have a nut intolerance. I thought it was for hazelnuts only, but felt a little unwell when eating these in quantity. HOWEVER, on giving them to my partner she roasted/baked them for me and I was eating them as a nutritious snack to great gusto. I forgot the cooking process seems to reduce intolerance (NOT allergies) symptoms so I was well pleased and enjoyed the product. Delivered quickly with no issues, at a fair price.

Unusual Almonds
These almonds are not as expected. The price is not bad, but the quality is just mediocre. I have had better almonds from other countries. These ones are too dry, very thin, and chewy. I would not recommend them, but it is a preference of taste. I would dare to say that even the Californian almonds are better than these ones!

Sweet almonds that actually have flavour!!
These are delicious & have far more flavour than tasteless, over processed (though good looking) Almonds from the US.Expiry dates:Bags bought May & Sept 2021 had expiry date 28/04/2022, so would have been 2020 cropBag bought 01/02/2022 has expiry date 12/23 so would be 2021 crop2 main varieties of Almonds; bitter & sweet.* Bitter have high levels Cyanide, which is poisonous, but which added to sweet as a small %, gives Marzipan its distinct aroma.* Sweet are safe, but have little taste or smell.Pink Sun almonds are raw, but have a nice flavour (not bitter) that is sadly lacking in US almonds, presumably because of all the additional "treatments" the US undertakes. One slight word of caution: If you suffer from insomnia & chuck a handful of these on the bed to munch on, they will leave an orange dust! Cleans up no prob with a vacuum though. Confirms they haven't been processed though & possibly adds to taste & roughage! While I have not had any with Pink Sun, with some organic almonds, you occasionally get a bitter almond amongst the sweet. You certainly notice it when you get one!

Jucy fresh tasty finished in few days
Really nice juicy almonds compare to many packed almonds that can be bought in stores. Some bit many but sometimes it did give me an unpleasant surprise as some pieces tasted literally pure alcohol and was diffculr to swallow. Bought it to have some healthy snacks that are not 5 pieces per pack like what you can get in most stores. Lasted for a few days xD

Shockingly poor quality or very old almonds.
I used this poor quality product to make almond milk. It did not produce the same quality as the previous batch I made with far fresher, plump, white almonds. These were tasteless, shrunken, brown stained, and the water had a film of strange residue floating on it, following blanching to get the skin off. I bought two bags, what a waste of money since the items cannot be returned.
