Wanted something that would auto open, give an added level of protection for stopping dust ingress through the lens area.This works well, with the only slight downside being that it can twist off a little too easy sometimes.The hood opens and protects the lens when extended and does not cause any vignetting.

loose mount, comes off easily. I liked it when it arrived, it has a nice look on the ricoh and its pretty sleek but my issue is with the mount. unlike the ring or other accessories that mount to the O ring, this one comes off easily, like butter. so easily that mine fell off multiple times and I lost it on the street within a week. would only buy again if the mount was redesigned to be a tighter fit and didn't dismount as easily.
