uPVC Door Weather Bar. Rain Water Deflector. Weather Drip Board

Purchased for my sons new home. The external upvc doors for some reason were not fitted with storm bars and as a result they're was innes of water on stormy days.Purchased as it was reasonably priced and did not require fitting with screws. Once the bar had been cut to size the backing paper is removed and stuck into the door.Initially I placed it too low and the bar caught on the frame, however with careful peeling back and replacing it worked well. Even with resiting, the tape has been very effective and the product works well.A well made product, with good quality adhesive tape. Seller despatched promptly and it was very well packaged in a cardboard tube.

When we have heavy rain, we had leak through our front door and so I decided to try this product. It was easy to cut and stuck onto the door without any problem. Now we can’t see any water coming through but not sure how long it will stay stuck onto the door for. That’s the reason I gave 4*. I’m happy that I tried this product before try to changing the whole door and the frame. About the product- Reasonably priced arrived in good condition. Time will tell, it’s value for money or not!

Easily trimmed to fit door size, so far adheasion is holding just fine. Looks smart and does its job.

Easy to cut to size and apply to my door but it didn’t stay stuck on for long, less than a week. I’d recommend using a super glue if you’re thinking of buying this product.

Need two people to measure and fix to the door. I measured the door closed from the outside first and pencilled a line on the PVC door before cutting the weather bar. Needed another person to help fix it straight and press against the door. Thought the bar was a bit expensive and not wood but sturdy enough and does the job, not sure how long the adhesive strip will last though. I am not a DIY person so had to figure how to fit it myself as no instructions supplied which would have been helpful considering the price. It has kept out the rain which used to run down the door and into the inside lip of the door frame, pleased it works.

I was extremely happy with how easy it was to cut the strip to size and also how strong the hold seemed to be however unfortunately after the first downpour of rain it fell off!! Shall now have to spend a lot of time trying to scrape the adhesive off my door and strip before I can try and find a stronger glue to try and refix it to my door. Was SO close to buying 2 more strips but certainly won't be doing so now...absolutely useless adhesive tape!!!!

Easy to attach, good quality

It helps reduce water ingress by deflecting rain.Only criticism was the adhesive strip is easily detached if caught with a foot when going through the door..I ended up using an adhesive direct to the strip.You could use screws if required.
