the best yet
Folkmanis are the very best puppets, so easy to manipulate. I have bought several, first for my grandchildren and now for my Golden Retriever. She inherited the puppets we already had at home and they were a great success, so we bought the sheepdog specially for her. She loves him. Her eyes light up when she sees her Oscar and he is the one she always chooses when she wants to tempt us to play. We're looking for another Folkmanis puppet to buy for her for Christmas.Three years on....Oscar is now an established member of our family. He's got a twin brother, also called Oscar, a stand-in for when the original needs a bath. When an Oscar smells a bit 'doggy' I put him in a pillowcase (with press-studs) and he goes in the washing machine- 30 degrees, delicate wash. They each get washed at least five times a year and look as good as new - almost, despite all the tugging and shaking and mouthing they get. Mollie treats Oscar like a puppy but he doesn't need feeding or trips to the vet - perfect!

Cuddly but moulting excessively.
The puppet is very soft and cuddly but the features are completely obscured by the fur,unlike the picture. Also,it is shedding fur abundantly,which is not too good for a young child (or any clothes or furnishings with which it comes into contact ). There are no washing instructions on the puppet or included in the order.Having said that, my 5 year old granddaughter loved it,as did her 1 year old sister. I am,however,concerned about them choking on the fur!

Life-like, cute puppet
A lovely, cuddly, life-like puppet.As others have found, I had to trim some of the fur around the eyes. But that was a fairly minor thing.
