This is my second set. I returned the first one because the small handle for the small knob was missing and looked like it was used. I ordered a second set and I got exactly the same part missing. 🙈

Not cheap in any sense, but worth every penny.This concealed thermostatic mixer and shower set from YJROOMS is superbly designed and built from top-quality materials. It is also one of the easiest to install and maintain that I have found and I’ve been fitting bathrooms and showers for 40 years.They seem to have thought of everything; the mixer valve is pre-mounted in a tough ABS embedding box, which has a sturdy transparent cover to keep all parts clean and clear of debris from plaster, tiling or other building processes and to protect the valve when installing. The embedding box even has a built-in spirit level and convenient depth markings, so getting the correct install orientation and depth couldn’t be simpler. Standard ½ inch plumbing connections are clearly indicated and the control valve is superbly engineered from solid brass and copper, with replaceable ceramic disk cartridges for long life and performance. The valve remains easily accessible after installation, for any future maintenance, without the need to disturb the wall.The unit is of course designed to be concealed so that the pipework, valve and plumbing are hidden from view behind the shower wall or enclosure. The control valve and all external (visible) items are included in the box however, you will also need additional plumbing components such as pipework, elbows, spigots and unions and unless you are a knowledgeable and experienced plumber/ bathroom fitter or a very competent DIYer, I would strongly suggest that you contact a professional installer to fit this.The 12” round rainfall head has a very thin profile and can be adjusted for the required angle. and the handheld spray, which is more like a wand, feels solid and comfortable in the hand. Both the overhead disk head and the handset have easy-clean, scale-resistant, silicon nozzles.Probably though, for most people, the most impressive feature is the appearance. This concealed rainfall and handset kit is gorgeous. Beautifully finished in brushed gold, it has a luxurious appearance which is both modern and stylish. It just looks superb, not only easy to keep clean and maintain but it really “looks the business”.Very well-made from premium materials it is robust and durable so I should think that, with proper care, it should last for many years.

All of the items in the box seem to be of a high standard. The choice of materials seems to be good. I don’t think the finish is to everyone’s taste and a little outdated but no doubt someone out there will be after gold finished shower pieces. It’s relatively good value for money when compared to similar products so could be ok if you’re on a budget. I would get a professional to fit this in your shower I’m not very experienced and the bits of the shower head are quite heavy so will need fixed properly to make it last. Great choice if you want to go for gold!

I can't comment on the installation because I got someone to do it for me. It took no more than 30 minutes to get it installed though.It's a lovely looking shower system, stylish and looks more expensive than it is.I think it's good value for money.Works fabulously.
