I bought this cool box last week as the weather was going to be hot for our 3 day weekend break in camper,I was pleased with how quiet it was during the night,and it ran off my 12v battery charged from 2x 120w solar panels,nice easy to use instructions,should of bought one sooner.

Absolute bargain of a fridge. X40 is bigger than i thought. X30 is probably enough but it’s great. Gets down to temperature super quick and easy to adjust the temperature. Fits a 2l bottle upright.

This appliance is a game changer for campervan, motorhome or caravan, I run mine on 230v through a 3000w inverter ,it uses minimum power an runs 24/7 . Highly recommended.

The product cooled down quite quickly from room temperature (22C) to -20C for the freezer on mains operation.The freezer temperature can be adjusted, but the chiller section does not have its own temperature control. It seems to be about 20C higher than the temperature setting for the freezer. e.g. freezer -20C so chiller = 0CWe fitted 6 frozen meals and some burgers in to the freezer without squashing. The chiller is also bigger than expected, despite being only half the size of the freezer section. It will take some cans or a wine bottle diagonally placed.If you have any problems don't expect any response from the supplier's "contact us". My 12v cable seemed to be faulty, so as Amazon said they would have to replace it all for what seemed like a small problem I emailed the supplier to ask for a 12v cable - no reply. Eventually I resolved the problem myself.We use this in a motorhome, normally on mains hook up. When we went camping off grid it had to be run on 12v. It was tripping off after a while when on the higher power setting. So it needed to be reduced as the van battery went lower. Eventually I let it switch itself off overnight in the battery saver mode until the sun recharged the solar panel again. It went up to about -2C overnight without power to it.Overall we are pleased with this fridge/freezer and the fridge capacity was an unexpected bonus as we bought it primarily as a freezer.

Fantastic fridge, works well, look great. So what's the issue I hear you say.Well it's plugged into to the power supply in boot which does not switch off with ignition. No problem there, however even with battery protection on High it still pulls the battery to 11.1v every single time before shutting off.Totally unacceptable, if you know anything about vehicles and electronics.No, before you ask the app will NOT let set the shut off voltage!! So you have to manage it yourself by disconnecting every time you use it.Pulling batteries down that low should be the rare exception not the normal every day.Once they tweek the software it will be great, until then have fun opening your boot and disconnecting every time!Please just set to 12.4v.Regret this purchase, big time.

Worth the money. Use it in the motorhome as we only have integrated fridge with small freezer top bit. This takes whole week of meat ice cream pizza and any other frozen goods for a week for 2 of us, and keeps it all frozen.

Great camp fridge, solid design, definitely an upgrade worth the money if you want your food to stay fresh and your drinks cold, it’s quiet, and the size we chose suited 6 campers
