Kokology: the Game of Self-Discovery

Unlike some of the other reviews, I was expecting/hoping for a more self-help style book, instead of a "game". I don't so much use it as a party conversation starter or anything, but it is still really fun to sit down for a moment and discover something about yourself. The "answers" don't feel forced or "self-helpy" if that makes sense and most of them I do agree with.

This book is great for parties, or for breaking the ice and to get a really interesting conversation going. It is excellent to get to know yourself or other players a little better in a fun way.Each mind-game and interpretation takes about 2 pages, so most of the games are actually fast to read and to work with. Some scenarios match perfectly and some scenarios might not match that well in interpretation. Overall really great fun to work with.Superb!

I like the simple use of the Kokology method. If you speak/read the language the book was written doesn't matter which age you are you can complete the exercises that are mentioned in the book. It is easy to use and simple to understand. A great activity with friends if you come across anyone who might be interested about learning more about themselves.However, the assumptions that are made in the book shouldn't be taken too seriously because they lack proper scientific backing.

I thought this book would be interesting, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Much smaller and thinner in size than I thought it would be. However, if you know what to expect from kokology you may not be as disappointed.

Fun to play with family and friends

not quite what I wanted for the person I was going to give it to - bit 'self-help-y' rather than fun/games type approach - but I will find a use for it
