Good book
Really good, except that some on the pages the type is the wrong colour against the page and it can be a struggle to read. Kids really enjoy the book though!

Lovely bright book.
Lovely picture book for grandson perhaps when he's a bit older but great for conversation with child, so much going on.

Not recommended
Book is a thin medium sized paperback book. Got it for Rs 398. Very expensive given its dimensions. Dark color font used against dark background making it difficult for kids to read. Better books available in the market as well as from Usborne itself.

Super
Magnificently illustrated. Children will love this book. My two-year-old grandson pointed at every illustration. Although for him they were all called fish, he did wonder how come a fish could also be a cow. (sea cows)

Beautiful and Educational
This a great book for any little one who loves learning about the sea and the creatures that live within it. I purchased this for my daughter when she was three. Her love of sea creatures began with Ariel, LOL. From that movie she got interested in sea horses, fish, lobsters, and the like. When I gave her this book, she was in heaven. The book is beautifully illustrated, and initially she would spend hours poring over the pictures (not uninterrupted hours of course, she was only 3, but....) Today, at age six, she still loves this book. Now she likes reading about the various animals portrayed in the book. Her three year old brother loves looking at the pictures, while she reads the book to him. I highly recommend this book for any child who loves the sea. The recommended age group is 5 and older, but, IMO, even children as young as 2 can appreciate this book.

A favorite
My 2 year old son loves this book. He requests "the sea book" quite often. I like that it has real creatures and actually teaches him about nature. He points to the animals and says "fish", "whale", "turtle"....He's liked it since he was very little.
