"Eric Ripert wouldn't serve me fish with bones in the dish" my wife would say ..
.. so I bought these almost 12+ years ago and haven't heard a complaint since. Will likely last my lifetime and serves a very specific but useful purpose. If you want to serve your fish without bones and without mangling the fillet, grab some of these.

AWESOME PRODUCT!!
After years and years of using regular tweezers to get those pesky bones out of my fish, I purchased these tweezers. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! No more breaking the bones in half and having to dig into the meat to get them. No more pain in my hands from having to hold the tweezers so tightly. This product is a must have for people who eat fish on a regular basis and have to remove those bones down the middle of salmon, rainbow trout, etc. Just grab and tug, the bone comes out with very little effort, which is important to someone who has arthritis! The dots on the side make it easy for your hand to stay in place, no slipping! Wonderful product!

Great for removing fishbones & smaller items in the kitchen.
It looks large but it perfect for me to remove fish bone from wet fish. Those are not anti-slip dots on the surface tweezers as I thought but I still got good grip due to size of tweezers.These tweezers makes it easier than smaller ones I used before but it depends on your size of your hands.

No more needle nose pliers
I’ve been using needle nose pliers from the tool drawer to get the pin bones out of salmon, but no longer.These global tweezers are an older model but work well and do the job.

Handle is *not* dimpled!
The dots shown in the picture are *painted on*, not indented as you might expect. At first, I thought the picture was simply misleading, but after going back and reading the description after receiving these, I see that it explicity says "dimpled for safe grip". Either they're deliberately lying, or they updated the design to cut costs -- either way, I'm not too happy given the price.Update: I see the main description now says "dimpled for safe grip", and the detailed description now says "unique darkened dimples for a non-slip grip". I don't think their marketing department knows what "dimpled" means (hint: a dent or indentation). These "dots" do absolutely nothing for the grip - they're smooth and flush with the handle.Tip for Global: a handle similar to this is what people are expecting when buying this product.
