a much better sounding speaker than the price shows
I got one (1) of the two (2) I ordered today. Have it hooked up and playing 1 front speaker since thats all Amazon delivered. I'm anxiously waiting on the 2nd speaker. But the sound from only one is so much better than what the price is. I research the manufacture, Magnat, it's a German company. Designed in Germany but made in China, of course. They evidently have them at the plant using very good drivers. Not cheap sounding at all. I own many different brands of 3 way speakers. Real 3 way with a midrange driver. Focal, SVS, had Klh, Sony and Pioneer, but sold them. For the price, I would say buy them. They are probable equal to an $700-900 speaker. I have ownwed many in that price range. Also I turned off my sub and put it at -6db in the receiver. I don't really miss the extra bass from the sub because this speaker is rate at going down to 18db. I can't say it does, but the only thing I was concerned with was at first, lower volume it was not as loud asmy other speakers, but once I turned it up, it's as loud now. I checked it's rated 4-8 ohm. really??? All my others are 8 ohm. when I saw that rating I started to question all others. I'm not convinced its sensetivity is as high as rated or frequence range it what it says. All research I did on these had a positive conclusion. some not overly, but still they rated them as good. If you are on a budget, buy these. They are worth it. At least the one playing is. I also have the bass on my receiver at "0". The build is good also. I got the black ash finish and it looks good too. Overall, these are a good buy for $173 each. Thats as long as the drivers last at the volume I play them at. I will update if they fail.Update 4/10/24: I finally got the 2nd one. I honestly have to say, they are not as good as I initially thought. At loud volumes, which I play a lot, they distort badly. Even with the bass at (-1). I tried (-2) this afternoon and It isn't near as clear as my other speakers. Although I paid a lot more for them, I now can no longer recommend these speakers. The 2nd one I got had some damage to the back corner of the cabnet, but for the priceof less than 180, I'm just keeping it. Right now I have my volume up 1/3. They don;t sound too bad for the price, but I wouldn't pay more for them. They are not worth it. Sure they have a 7" woofer, but what good are they if they distort a little higher volume than 1/3. I'm using a 100/channel receiver with (2) 215 watt/channel amps. All subwoofers are off. The bass isn't too bad at this volume, but if I go any higher, they distort. Ine the end after really putting them through the test, I have to say, look elsewhere under you aren't using low wattage receiver/amp and you're not going to play it loud.

Good for the money
Update-1-20-25So far i dont have any things to complain about they sound good to my ears so far, i did end up getting the speak shelf speakers to match the towers for my living room. I really do enjoy my mid-range so for me a 3-way tower is the only way even if i only paid $180 each. These are good for the money, but there not perfect. I compared my klipsch rp280f with these and the 2002 are definitely more laid back, not forward but they do have a more fuller sound and the highs are not screaming at you at high volumes. At high volume the 280f can get harsh but the 2002 are not, i wont say these are neutral but they do sound natural and mid range is nice, the lows are there but not as much extension like the 280f, but the bass accuracy is there along with the mid-range. I dare to say these are hard to beat for the money, the actual size are 42.5Hx10.5Wx13.1D, some of the towers with similar size would be the emotiva tower speakers, bentley acoustics RF-3 towers. The build quality is on the sub par due to the fact the most of the cost went into the woofers, it does have a modern look and the dual 8in woofers due in fact resonates with items around the room at times, i will keep these and up date as needed.

Extremely Happy
My Willsenton amplifier sound fantastic with these speakers. They sound like a pair of 2000.00 speakers. Excellent quality. How could you not get yourself a pair. There not overly bright. My kind of speaker.
