Amazon Basics Softcover Plain Paper Notebook, Extra Large, Black, 25 x 20 cm

Soft cover note book is lovely to write in. Lovely smooth paper, that is easy to write or draw on. My only concern is that the paper isn’t that thick so I wouldn’t be able to use both sides, as I am heavy handed so you would see it on the other side. But more and more notebooks are getting like this now. I really like the size, I struggle to find them this size with plain paper. So it’s a winner from me.

This is a robustly made and excellently sized notebook.It looks like Moleskin, but doesn't feel that way. It's softish, but a bit rougher - in my eyes, that makes it a bit more hardwearing though.What I love is how large it is. Each page is 25 x 20cm, so double pages give you tons of room.It is a lined pad, has a pocket inside the back cover for storing loose sheets, a book mark and elastic binder strap.Overall, fabulous.

There is a lot to like about this notebook. The paper quality, the cover, the back pocket, and the fact that it lies reasonably flat on the the table. All that for this price is excellent. However, the elastic at the back came out very quickly, see pic, and although I will attempt to superglue it back in that is very annoying.

A worthy adversary to the competitors. This lined notebook is a fraction of the price but of the same quality. The pages are nice and crisp, with thin lines. The cover is soft and allows the notebook to be bent around. It’s perfect to use at the office or at home. The notebook shows very subtle amount of ink bleed through the page. This is probably because I’m using a very wet nib to test. Definitely worth it.

Really good notebook! This feels nice quality without being extravagant. I love the size which is bigger than I'm used to, but gives a great feeling of space. The paper quality is decent, and the combo of elastic closure, ribbon placeholder and back pocket make it super practical. Personally I love the understated colour and style. Perfect.

As a lover of Moleskine extra large soft cover notebooks I was intrigued by this product. I eventually purchased one and, having been in receipt of it for around 20 minutes I can confirm that I'll never purchase another.The "soft cover" is rigid. The elastic band is too tight, creating ridges in the cover and the paper quality is horrendous. Considering I purchased a soft cover extra large Moleskine for around £2 more at the same time as purchasing this one, I really consider this notebook to be a waste of money. It's several leagues below the Moleskine in terms of quality and value.

Amazon basics do come up with some very competitive products from time to time. This one is no exception. This is a good quality "sketchbook" with a leatherette type cover, which is thin card. Then the paper is high quality paper suitable for sketches and drawings. There is also a pouch on one end to allow storage of some papers etc.The only bad point I would say is that this product isn't for you if you need to tear out pages as the design of the pages doesn't really allow for pages to be ripped or cut out. It would make the book look very odd.For a book for notes or drawings this book is ideal though!!
