First, I want to start by saying that this is an awesome box. However, just a heads up for anyone who's planning on using the mounting plate inside for attaching circuit boards of any kind. The mounting holes will not line up at all, you'll have either fashion another plate to the existing one in order to map your standoffs perfectly, or 3D print Din rail adapters for smaller circuit boards, then you can use a din rail to mount your boards to the existing mounting plate. Hopefully this helps save someone time, or at the least aids in your planning.

I purchased this to extend my mesh network to my backyard. It’s awesome! Totally waterproof as it is placed directly next to a fountain and the transparent top doesn’t interfere with the wireless signal. Absolutely perfect for what I bought it for!

I tried to buy a box locally so I could do some work on the weekend. But no local stores had plastic boxes, which I needed to avoid a Faraday cage.This box has NO sharp edges or mold flash. It is pretty thick. The latches and hinges seem solid. I would certainly buy it again.If it had some knockouts, I'd be happier, but I knew what I bought.

This is a well constructed box and this appears durable. I installed a GFCI outlet, two ZWave controllers, one LED power supply and managed to fit everything in the box. Of course, to maintain the waterproof integrity of the box, I used gland nuts for my wires passing through. Works perfectly and the locking cover is secure enough for my backyard situation. I chose the solid cover version rather than the clear cover so that the contents are not visible.Highly recommended choice.

Nice little weatherproof enclosure for a eero Pro 6E that extends a WiFi system half-way to the county line! Didn't notice any drop in signal as a result of the enclosure and yet the eero stays cozy warm on our long subzero nights and cool, well ... okay ... ventilated, on those HOT summer days. An STC-1000 controls the fans (one in & one out) and a 75 watt PTC cabinet heater. Could have probably used a smaller heater because the eero generates a small amount of heat itself, but all-in-all everything plays together nicely and that's what matters. BTW ... expanded foam insulation was installed on all sides including the door and a thin layer under the box's mounting plate. However, the floor is not insulated because of the fan cutouts.
