Proxxon 28512 Drilling and Milling Machine MicroMOT 60 / EF

Comfortable to grip and use for extended periods - tested it on wood carving, rock cutting/engraving and glass etching - found it to be very controllable and easy to use. It's also quieter than I was expecting - which is another plus. Does require the Proxxon Power Transformer which must be purchased separately - would also recommend purchasing the Proxxon Footswitch as it makes operating it a lot safer.

Really impressed by this have had a cheap rotary tool for a few years and the collets kept breaking, love the keyless chuck so no more broken collets and can fit all my attachments from 2.3mm to 1/8th of inch up to 5mm drill bitVery impressed

Very good German produced a small and useful rotary tool , excellent using it with wooden ship modelling.

Good tool and works well

I first put an order for the drill with the seller CW Tyzack because they showed on Amazon they had stock on the 19th May. The delivery dates given were the 24th/25th May. A bit long but I can wait. I received an email on the 22nd to say the drill had been dispatched. But no tracking details were given.On the 26th May nothing had turned up and the Amazon message I got was "we are running late but its on its way." So I messaged the seller asking if they have dispatched the drill as I haven't received anything? Explaining that I need it for a job. This is the reply I got. "Hi sorry for the delay,The proxxon has just arrived and is booked in out system, then we will dispatch asap" I thanked them for their reply and asked when will I receive the drill and the answer I got was next week.I waited then on the 1st June I message the seller again asking. "It's the 1st now and still not received the drill. Can you tell me when it was sent and with who?" On 2nd June I received this reply. "hi, still waiting for this to come in, should be anyday. or you ok to hang on or i can refund and let you know once in. regards" With this I decided to give up with this seller and asked for a refund. All the way though this saga they were still showing they had stock!I did a web search and found a tool-shop in Swindon that said they had the drill in stock. I rang them up to confirm they had stock and I got the drill the following day plus it was £3 cheaper even with the fast delivery. Excellent service.As for the Proxxon drill. That gets 5 stars. It is an excellent piece of kit. I already have their 12v transformer with speed control and with the speed control on the drill as well. It allows you to sand, cut and drill even plastic without melting it. I am slowing moving from Dremel to Proxxon.

Très grande qualité de fabrication, le mandrin tourne rond et l’outil est puissant.

Cela fait plus de 40 ans que j'utilise le matériel Proxxon, c'est vraiment du matériel professionnel à un prix très avantageux. C'est principalement le matériel Micromot que j'utilise depuis d'innombrables années pour la réalisation de gravure sur verre et sur miroir. Je ne puis que conseiller cette marque "Proxxon".

Quello precedente ha (forse) fuso dopo un uso intensivo (a volte per ore continue, poggiandolo solo per farlo raffreddare quando non potevo tenerlo (perche' scottava peggio dell'acqua in ebollizione) quasi giornaliero per circa 5 anni..! Al contrario del suo concorrente (Dr...) questo si impugna bene, e' relativamente leggero e ci si puo' lavorare comodamene. Al contrario del (Dr.. )che dopo 5 minuti ti indolensisce il polso e le dita della mano...col calore si deforma la scocca in plastica/gomma. Difatti lo ho regalato. Un consiglio: evitate di usarlo al massimo dei giri per troppo tempo (come me...) Come si scalda tanto, lasciatelo raffreddare qualche minuto. Potrebbe durare diversi anni se lo trattate bene. Consiglio quello col mandrino autoserrante perche' scoccia parecchio cambiare inserti anche 3 o 4 volte in una seduta di lavoro (e poi te li potresti perdere nel caos del laboratorio)...;-)

Siento especial predisposición hacia esta marca, ya que ninguna de sus herramientas que he adquirido me ha defraudado (tengo varias reviews si visitan mi perfil).Inicialmente no consideré adquirir este taladro ya que necesitaba su hermano transformador para hacerlo funcionar, pero una vez que lo compré junto con el cutter caliente para el poliestireno, la tentación fue demasiado grande y lo adquirí.Se le ve de mucha calidad, y lo que más me gusta es que le puedes acoplar una broca del tamaño que quieras. Quedará perfectamente ajustada. El hecho de poder graduar fácilmente la velocidad de rotación también lo convierte en una herramienta fundamental para trabajos modelisticos, como es en mi caso.
