This product is cheaper than what the Games Workshop has to offer and it's exactly the same, very customisable for either ranged or close combat weaponry, for a Grey knight army this is a very effective killing machine, tough and when it gets into combat it becomes a nightmare for those on the receiving end of it. It may cost a bit of points but it indefinately bolsters your army and is a very good product to have.

Okay I was looking for something to get my brother for Christmas. I know he likes war hammer things so I started looking through amazon's list. Now I know nothing really about these figures and so I depend on reviews many times to give me a better idea as to what an item is about. I read this figures review and just about died from laughing at it, it sounded exactly like my brother. So I bought it thinking that would be enough for him, but I thought it would be lonely or not the greatest thing cause again the review may have been exaggerating a bit. So I got him a grey knight terminator squad as well thinking it would be helpful to him in case the Dread Knight isn't all that powerful. He said combined together it was just brutal for the other player.To repeat I don't know much about these figures other then what my brother tells me. Tonight he called me to let me know how it went at his gaming night. He has been told he is not to bring it again for if he does no one will want to play with him if he is using it LOL.Evidently he was playing with a person in a 2000 point game. My brother was using 2000 but the other guy, he let have 2700. After just 2 rounds the game was over this figure kicked that much butt. Afterward he told the group how he received this present and the fact that I just picked it randomly. They were totally stunned and couldn't believe that I did just pick it out of a hat. They were less then pleased to hear about that hehe it was funny picturing their faces as my brother told them it was random luck that I got it for him.He also informed me that this is a figure that requires 300 points to play but that it's just about unkillable. That the other person he was playing against has to concentrate all his resources to kill him and even then lost the game.So if someone is looking for a character that would be good to play and be an absolute bear to kill this would be the figure for you. My brother is very pleased with it and he will use it again. This is not the first figure he has been told not to bring any more cause the others in a nut shell are just jealous of him.The previous review was very accurate about the destructive capabilities of this figure along with how other people would think of someone if they were to receive it.Oh and he also told me that cause of the class of figure this is that with a large point army you could bring a total of 3 to a game which would guarantee everyone basically hating the owner of this figure.I say if your interested in something that will help a person round out their army and something that will truly annoy everyone and you don't mind that, pick up this figure, you won't regret it.

Pretty much required if you're fielding a Grey Knight army. Also super fun figure to paint if you don't plan on using it in a game.

This is a great starter set for anyone that is wanting to play Warhammer 40k with the Grey Knights set.
