The best tan I’ve ever used, develops more even after a shower. Fades well too, apply using gloves or mitt for best results, can apply again once you’ve applied first coat but I find it doesn’t need that. The best tan by miles and I’ve tried every one going!!

I had really high hopes for this product and followed the instructions from one of the other reviewers saying to just use your hands to rub it in properly and then wash your hands really well.I really thought I'd covered everywhere pretty evenly but woke up this morning looking a bit like a zebra.That said my brown bits are a very lovely shade of brown! I'm going to have another bash later on with a mit this time and try to cover my white bits!It smells lovely going on and it dries relatively quickly in comparison to some other products I've previously used.You still get the biscuits smell later on as the tan develops but I think that's across the board for every product.I suspect my stripey application is more down to my application technique as opposed to the product itself however is difficult to know!I'll have another bash later and update my review!

I'm a huge fan of the brand Bondi Sand so thought it try the drying oil. Never EVER again. Why? Because the oil is pretty much translucent and you don't know where you've put it and how much you've put on. I used the WHOLE BOTTLE. After 3 hours and thought to myself, we'll it's not bad considering I used all the bottle but it was a lot darker than I'd normally have it. A bit I went to bed annoyed as hell for my own stupidity but as it was late and the bottle CLEARLY STATES you don't need to shower after putting the product on and you could stick on your clothing/pyjamas without worrying it may stain with fake tan. Also says on the bottle it has a fast setting time, the mazimum being 3 hours and it won't get darker so at least I didn't woory about that!So generally it does do what is says to does on the bottle......HOLD UP, NOPE THAT'S NOT THE END TO MY FIRST PARAGRAPH..I woke up the next morning. It was dark. Came downstairs to make a coffee and jump in the shower.My Eldest child came down as when I make one, she will. She's 17 now and I let her have a cup of it to start the day. Gave her to her, well placed it in front of her as she was knee deep in her phone fir her to briefly look up and me and say thanks. Which she did but then did a double take and started absolutely roaring. Full on laughing she was crying. I somewhat tried to ask her what the hell was going on for a good 5 mins until she screamed out... "MUM, WHAT THE ACTUAL **** HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR FACE? Still laughing. Went to the mirror and CRIED. Not only had it got 20 times darker I looked like I'd changed ethnicity OVERNIGHT. Stick to the best Bondi Sands TANNING LOTION. I will never live this down. 😭😭 24hrs later now and all I can say is, thank God for the Lockdown. Nobody is seeing me for weeks now. Not even my local shop!!! Try it at your own peril. Oh and it does stain clothes and remains sticky as it's impossible to put skinny jeans on with that stuff on you. Live and learn I guess? Have no choice now anyway!! 😭😭🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😔😔😭😭😂😂😂

Used Bondi Sands many times before. It’s an excellent product.This is currently at a Super amazing price £7.80. It’s a definite buy.Tan looks natural, I spray it on at night, let it dry, it says mins, but reality is a good 20 min, 30 min to be sure.About 1/6th of the bottle is adequate for all over tan, it darkens over night, so don’t go crazy with it. Had complements today about how lovely tan is. Always had natural looking tan with Bondi Sands, except the mousse I used once, years back which was a disaster! Lol!I don’t bother with the mitt. You should do really tho to be honest. I just use hands, make sure you wash your palms with soap straight after if you do it this way.Have a good scrub in the shower before hand, harder areas of skin / dry / dead skin, will tan much darker, be particularly mindful of elbows, they need only a thin coat, otherwise will go a fair bit darker.I leave mine to cure over night, if you want a lighter tan, then wash off after 4 - 6 hours. Darker tan, leave on for 10 - 12 hours. (I do and it looks lovely)Lasts for a week, I also have Bondi Sands gradual tan for a gentle top up every now and then.Final tip: keep your chin up high whilst it’s drying, if you look down creases in the neck will go twice as dark, giving you some distinctive zebra stripes. Chin up as much as possible as long as possible.So overall:1. Good scrub in shower, exfoliate, dry off fully.2. Don’t go mad with it, it’s not an instant tan, it develops3. Keep that chin up till fully dried.4. If worried about it getting too dark, shower off after 6hrs this will stop it developing further.5. If it’s raining, for goodness sake don’t put it on in the morning and go outside! (I learned that the hard way!) best to use in the evening at home.6. If used immediately before bed time and you have white sheets you will get some transfer, this washes out no problem. Best to apply a couple hours before bed to avoid this all together. I usually put on about 7 / 8pm. Bed time 11pm, shower 7 / 8am.If your new to Bondi Sands, it will probably become your new self tan, I’ve tried loads and it’s by far the best and most natural tan.If your new to self tanning, just go easy with it, a little goes a long way. Remember, it develops over several hours, it’s not an instant tan! Think I read a review of someone using the entire bottle! Don’t do that!!At this price it’s an absolute bargain. I will certainly stock up! 5***** product!
