A delight to use.
As I no longer feel obliged to be clean shaven every working day I have resorted to a more shaggy look that even I have grown tired of. I had taken an interest in the Philips One Blade for a while but had been rather put off by the high cost of replacement blades and their claimed longevity.this was a promotion on Amazon; the razor being around the £20 area and a pack of three blades also @ £20. These are claimed to last for three months per blade with use of 2X per week. I am sceptical at such claims as my beard is of the bog brush variety but the costs of discovery were acceptable to me.Once I had discovered how to use the razor which is flat on the skin and in a pushing fashion, upwards against the grain as it were I soon got the hang of it, with a very light touch and no scraping I was sold on the concept and what a clever concept it is. Philips have been good at innovation over the years (eg. VHS system } but not so good at the PR and marketing.Well I think they have a winner here if they can bring down the cost of blades but the shave you get is very skin hugging and close to a wet shave without the expense of shaving foams, creams, oils, though you can wet or dry shave with this as well.Whether the blades will last for three or four months I haven't found out yet - I'm still on my first one and there's no signs of tiredness yet. I'm very happy with my purchase.

A little different but works amazingly!
This razor is amazing value at £25. I used this to give a clean shave and compared to many other razors at a similar price, there are few that come close. The design differs from the usual with a smaller dual sided head. The cutting blades sit parallel and really close to your skin which allows for a close shave without having to repeatedly go over the same areas. Whilst the head is smaller than many other razors, the accuracy that this cuts at means that it is fast and efficient, yet has never cut me. The small size struck me as perfect for keeping a beard well groomed and in shape however I don't use electric razors for this purpose so there may be other options for this. It comes with a range of adaptor combs for beard trimming lengths however I also can't vouch for these. The razor is very simple to use with only 1 button and 1 speed which is sufficient for shaving. Allowing both wet and dry shaving means that this product is ideal for those people who like to be clean shaven yet find the cost, time, or having to constantly replace razor heads an inconvenience. At this price, perhaps it's time to switch!

On your delicate area's it's a bit BITEY :-0
For me it's not a one stop shop it's a useful addition to my shaving equipment & for me worth what I paid as I'm bone idle & only shave when my face tells me it can't cope with the itching any longer. For removal of bulk hair is where it shines (I normally destroy a blade every couple of shaves just removing the bulk) ! Then mop up the remaining bristles with your classic wet shave equipment. What you want to know is how close does it cut ? Well I'll tell you I was surprised by how close it cuts down again for me it feels like 24 hours after a superb wet shave. Now there is a learning curve involved in using the OneBlade the blade needs to be flat against your skin not as easy as it sounds but you do get used to it. A great feature is it cuts in two directions up stroke & down stroke which is an interesting & unique feature after spending 40+ years drawing a blade down. Now most of you modern hipsters want to know about using it as a manscaper (Philips say it's doable all though that said they don't sell it for that purpose) well as I mentioned in the title it's a bit bitey on delicate skin ( I have purchased the additional guide kit I'll let you know if there's any improvement) but that said it's not so horrific that you wouldn't stop when it nips you (Ha Ha) as I mentioned already for bulk hair removal is where it shines just be careful with your plums :-0Did I mention it's water resistant so you can lather up & use it in the shower if you'd like but please ensure you've thoroughly dried the charging connectors before attempting to recharge it or you may have a shocking experience plugging it in. These are just my first impressions overtime I'm sure I'll master it's usage however with my current knowledge I would heartily recommend you add this terrific tool to your male grooming regime.just a few bits of pertinent information more in the pack is a voucher claiming to give you 50% of additional blades if you register at Philips.com this is a blatant lie it's actually 15% & most important it comes with a Euro plug so you'll have the additional cost of an adapter to take into consideration other than that it's an interesting & useful bit of kit !

OneBlade is all you need
Bought this because it was on offer at £20 - so had to try it!So glad I did, this is the best portable electric razor I've ever owned. I've had Philips Braun's costing £80 that do a worse job than this small thing. The battery life lasts a long time, although it's an EU plug charger so I had to buy a UK plug charger which can be found on Amazon. This gives as close to a clean shave as you can get and it's very quick at doing so. Most electric razors fail to give you a clean shave, or they always miss a hair or two. Don't let the cheap price put you off this is definitely the razor you need.

Shaves you brilliant.....everywhere
This is the ultimate device for shaving all over the body.I primarily use this for edging my beard, but it has an additional usage for confidently and safely trimming other hairs on my body. The clipper blade is so incredibly well designed, that you would have to put effort into cutting yourself, so using this on an area of your body that you wouldn't want to cut, is very safe and very easy. The different length blade guards and incredibly useful as well.Only issue, is that it doesn't use a USB charger, but instead uses its own bespoke charger. Make it annoying to travel with, having to take yet another charger with me.Other than that, if you want a device to tidy up downstairs without fear of cuts, buy this right now and enjoy.
