There is a reason why they show it working on a clean yard. It does not pick up on a yard with leaves. What leaves it does pick up spill out as you move back and forth. I was hoping it would work as shown. In this case other reviews are accurate. Don't waste your time buying this. I would not keep or use this even if it were given to me. I will be sending it back. The cost is too much. The leaf basket is useless. It takes way more energy to try to make it work. So disappointing.

If you are like me, finding an affordable and effective method to revitalize your artificial turf has been a frustrating endeavor. Brooms, rakes, brushes haven’t worked. I needed a mechanical method, which I’ve seen in on-line videos, but they can be quite confusing and extremely expensive. After many, many hours of research I found what I hoped was an affordable, practical, and effective tool to help get the job done.The Forever Green Lawns LimitedArtificial Grass Maintenance Artificial Grass Sweeper/Yard Power Brush has proven to be exactly what I needed! It’s very affordable and effective. Extremely easy to put together and to use. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sweeper and after using was even more impressed. I gave it a thoroughly intensive first try out and it kept up and didn’t falter at all. No bogging down, over heating, or mechanical issues. Worked perfectly the whole time.You can see from the pictures I’ve attached, the artificial turf is my back yard needed a lot of TLC. Along the strip next to the patio and towards the putting green was basically flat. I’ve never been completely happy with the putting green which I felt had too much sand installed and the drainage was poor making the over sanding even more prominent. As I said previously, I’ve tried sweeping, brushing, and raking both the turf lawn and putting green and have never had much success in making it look decent.This Forever Green Lawns sweeper proved to be an excellent and affordable solution to my problems. Your turf may not be in as bad a shape as mine and I’ll honestly say one pass with the sweeper did not instantly make my back yard look amazing. Because of the different lays in the grass and how flat it was in areas, I ended up going in different directions and also concentrating on areas that were extremely flat to get the turf to loosen and stand up. Having said that, I did not kill myself in doing the job and the sweeper performed extremely well in revitalizing the turf. It also did a pretty darn good job of sweeping up debris, leaves, and other fodder. Although I’ve not tried it, I think it would work very well on patios and sidewalks too as a sweeper.I have a golden retriever and there was a lot of hair in the grass. A LOT of hair! The sweeper is not a vacuum so it did not pick up all the hair. What it did quite effectively is to pick up and loosen the hair from the grass. A simple light vacuum after the sweeping got all the hair up easily since it was loose now and not stuck in the turf.The putting green honestly has never looked better. I was easily able to sweep up the excess sand and make the surface clean, smooth, and even. Something I’ve not been able to do with rakes or hard brushes.The only thing I found that was the least bit of an issue and it was minor, was handling the extension cord while doing the yard. Given the amount of work I did though and the time involved, I don’t think a battery powered unit would have been very efficient. It may be more convenient but in my opinion, and from past experience with other battery powered tools, would no where as been as effective as a chord powered unit. As I said, it was really the only inconvenience and was realistically a minor thing to deal with given the effectiveness of the sweeper.The people at The Forever Green Lawns Limited Company were absolutely terrific to work with and were extremely helpful in helping me make my decision to purchase the sweeper. They made the whole process very easy and answered all my questions prior to my purchase. A leaf rake and a bristle contractors broom will save you time and money. Does not collect leaves. Barely fluffs grass.Edit* does an okay job picking up the small rocks that get in my yard so I gave it a bump

First time ever using a powerbroom on artificial grass.The basket that attaches to the rear to catch debris collected is ineffective and requires you to hold the device at a particular angle to try and keep most of the debris in the basket. Works but the collection basket needs improvement to keep its firm shape and not allow debris to exit the basket.

I have artificial grass in my front yard with a tree that constantly drops leaves and little branches. I normally use a blower but that makes a mess somewhere else, that same blower reverses to a vacuum but only does a small area and takes forever. So I found this brush and thought I would give it a shot, so far after my first brushing it surprisingly works pretty good. Not very powerful but does the job in a 1/4 of the time of the aforementioned items. It covers a good amount at a time. My only thing is the catcher. You have to keep emptying it and or picking it up to get the debris to the back of the catcher, if you don't debris will come back out. Over all very satisfied for the job I need it for.

Where do I begin? Difficult to put together because the instructions were vague. Once sweeping, it had a mind of its own. Debris would go into the bag, but fall out again. Emptying the bag was a joke because you had you had to fight with it, then it would spill out. I’ll stick with my rake and mulcher

So bought the 300 dollar greensweep push vacuum and it's did not suck up at all and was a waste of money. Took it back and bought this machine and wow what a difference, it's so much better, especially for the price. The only thing is keep it tilted so that the bag doesn't fall off as you vacuum along. Overall awesome product and it works great.

Awful turf sweeper. Basket design is atrocious... fills quickly then dumps overflow back on turf. Requires FREQUENT dumping to even be semi effective.MANY spots in my turf now have pulled nylon fibers (see photo).Had to spend 30 minutes on 50 square feet only to still have pine needles and other debris still in and even on top of the turf.I'd expect something of this quality and performance to be in the $50 range. I think I paid $175 😭.This is the first spring season I've used the tool and will be requesting a full refund.
